Okay this is how it is!! Consumer beware!! I am the father of a beautiful young teenager at the time.My daughter always dreamed of being a model and walking the cat walk.
So I decided to take her to a modeling agency, which was Stone Modeling Agency in Brooklyn Ohio at the time, now there in Garfield Hts now.So anyways we interview with a women named Victoria. She seemed a very knowledgable lady at the first meeting. She filled my daughter mind with dreams beyond what she could imagined. So I paid the deposit and the classes started.
Everything was going great for a couple weeks, then she was invited to a audition. So we registered her in it and she made it.Yay right? Not!! Come to find out it was an audition to the IMTA in California.Oh ya and it would cost us 6000.+ for just her and if I wanted to go 12,000.+.So she would have to compete against hundred of model all over the USA.nothing gaurantee. So okay that was a lost dream for my daughter, but keep in mind they say that it would only cost you for the classes she going to take.
So okay now that dream was lost,so Stone Modeling hold there 1st annual modeling and talent show at the Marriot on Rockside. So I paid another 695.00 for that, well that was a joke she got 12 call back from agents at the show and that was the extent of it,Stone refused to go any further will the call back until my daughter trimmed up.And at the time she was okay for the show case and the agent were interested. So we had a meeting with the owner of Stone Modeling and she wanted to know who were the agents that were interested so she could call them back.Well one thing led to another and we ended up talking about the IMTA in New York, well you know where thats going another 6000.00 +
Well to give anyone fair warning,if you want your child to become a model take them to a real agent, not a school that give your child false hopes.Go to Elite,Ford,Click modeling agency in New York,L.A. or Chicago, not a middle company that rips you off
