Complaint Review: Summerset Kennels - Angie Hernandez - Spartanburg South Carolina

All you know how to do is bash people. The one that really needs to get a life is YOU! The reason for my posting is to stop horrible, incompetent breeders that put out dogs with horrible genetic conditions that cause unecessary, lifelong suffering. I wish Angie would raise you so that you truly get what you deserve for such idiotic, non-fact supporting posts. I guess that's what happens when your brain exists up your AZZ! Just stay in school folks! Maybe then you'd learn a thing or two about proper animal husbandry and breeding!

Anyone that reads your remarks will clearly see you have a heart of stone and are just trying to get a rise or probably you are just a total troll.

I found another thread of others that have gotten sick dogs from Angie. I sure wish I would have seen that when we bought our dogs. Those seeing this are truly lucky to have hard facts in front of them.

It's brutal and heartwrenching to watch your dogs that you love so much suffer like this knowing it could have been prevented by proper breeding.

The medication side effects are terrible and for some dogs like ours they did not tolerate it so it's just pain management medications which eventually lead to other complications and toxicities of the liver, kidneys, GI system etc. Your dammed if you do and your dammed if you don't.

Our 3 year old not only has the two above conditions but he also has Hydrocephalus:

and then our 8 year old has the top two conditions plus non-viral meningitis with cerebral fluid leaking out of his nostrils :-(

The only reason i spend time posting here is because our hearts are breaking hard. If our experience can educate others maybe breeders such as this will be stopped or improve the way they breed. No dog should suffer like this when it's something that can be prevented.

Just gentle petting causes incredible pain. We have found special places to cuddle and pet where they can tolerate it. The amount of love these little guys have brougt us even amongst such pain is incredible and for that I feel blessed they are in a warm and loving home to comfort them as their painful journey in life continues until they can no longer be here with us. Yes we are mad! We are sad and just like anyone else we will not be bullied into keeping our mouthes shut. If this saves one dogs life it was worth it!

Please look up the other reports filed on Summerset Kennels. i've posted more photos of my poor fur babies. You can tell they are greatly loved, pampered and well taken care of. We've spent a lot of our savings to help our dogs. They are members of our family in sickness and in health! We'd never give them back to a place where I'm sure they were mishandled and mistreated.

I can tell you that when we first got Blade he was so bloated and sick with worms it took weeks of treatment to get his poor distended belly better. Then when we got Jazz he was incredibly dehydrated and needed fluids, and antibiotics to restore his health. We thought we may lose him. His littermate went to a friend of mine and was in very bad shape too upon arrival. I realize the plane ride is traumatic for such little dogs. Another good reason not to purchase online.

I've noticed his littermate starting to show similar signs like Blade and Jazz. His tongue started hanging out like Jazz's. She doesn't have the money to have the MRI done. Just praying her pup won't turn out having Chiari, Syringomyelia and Hydrocephalus like his littermate.

I urge others to please post and come forward and stop the breeding of these poor dogs.

I'm going to post on many other forums to spread the word in hopes to save more sweet little lives from a life filled with pain and suffering.

You did not call her so please stop with the lies, you have no idea how much heart Angie puts in her dogs. She does everything for them so don't say she doesn't. And bashing? You getting on this website isn't bashing? More like being immature and not facing your problems face to face with Angie. Oh wow I'm such a tough person cause I get on the internet and talk bad about someone... wooooo, just grow up. You should have just returned the puppy cuz you most likely didn't do a good job raising them. I would much rather have Angie raise me then some immature person like you. She knows how to treat her dogs, gives them their shots, worms them all that. She would try her best whenever she had to take care of any sick puppy. You have no idea how many dogs she has saved. So just go and rethink your life and do something better with it cuz you coming on here and what not is probably not a fun life, more llike a boring life to get some action in your life. Just come to SC and we can settle this little problem lol.

Anyone that swears obsenities and is this unprofessional is just pure Trailer trash! I really thought Angie was an upstanding breeder. I phoned her several times of which she ignored my calls. I emailed her, I even facebooked her! No replies other than she can't write back to me because she is too sick. I'm sorry she is sick. Maybe it's Karma for all the sick puppies she sells. Jazz is only 3. Who is the Dumb A## now. Blade is only 8 years of age.

My dogs are some of the most pampered dogs. They have a human diet very well balanced and receive nothing but the best care. You can contact our Neuologist Vet and main Vet and they will back me up, provide documentation to prove their conditions are poor breeding related problems that can be completely avoided with proper testing of the dogs she breeds. You don't have to watch them suffer daily. Chiari Malformation and Syrngomyelia with Hydrocephalus are not caused by poor care. Maybe if you had a brain in your head and an education where you could actually look these medical terms up you will learn something instead of just running at the mouth bashing people without any knowledge to the situation. Get your facts before you swear and bash people that actually have a heart and care for animals and not just try to make money off of them! I respected Angie until both my dogs were diagnosed by a $2000 dollar MRI times 2! due to extreme pain and illness!

That is love as most people would have just put their dogs to sleep. When Jazz is too sick to eat I have to hand feed him. I spend hours prepping veggies, making juices, boiling lamb, chicken and turkey for their meals to keep them feeling as best they can. That costs lots of money and when they are too sore to eat due to extreme pain in their head and joints I hand feed them. No one in my family, nor friends can believe the amount of care and love I have for my dogs. They are like my children of which my children love and care for them just as much! They too are saddened to see them suffering with this condition that can easily be prevented due to proper breeding standards.

It was mostly happening with the Caveliers due to the breeders trying to breed for that cute small head. Well they are doing it with Chihuahuas trying to create the so called teacup. Blade wasn't a teacup nor did we want a teacup and in fact when we purchased Jazz we had thought he'd be similar in size to Blade and he is less tha half Blade's size. In fact I've not seen such a small Chihuahua. He has more issues then Blade and is only 3 years old!! Poor baby! You try watching the loves of your lives suffer like this!

Maybe you don't care or have a heart but you sure have some nerve to go bashing me of whom you know nothing about, nor my character! I have nothing to prove to you. I have pure facts and if I wanted to pursue this in a court of law I could easily do so! But it's not about the money of which believe me I've paid through the nose for my fur babies. I don't want Angie's money. She can have it and live with the KARMA she is getting from selling such sick dogs. The photos are proof, the MRI documentation is proof, their medical files is proof and you can call my vet any time and speak with them.

The reason for me posting on here is to help prevent others for falling victim for one of these dogs. It's extremely heartbreaking to see them suffer. You can't barely pet them without then scratching in pain, not even itching. Or hearing them get up and yelp or watching them all of a sudden jolt up in pain yelping. Next phases they will have to endure as this conditions progresses will be seizures and more neurological symptoms!

Maybe if you spent less time being so rude and ignorant and more time reading about this you could inform your friend about this condition and prevent more poor pups from suffering a life full of pain and misery. I also have a veterinary and medical background and am board licensed as a Veterinary Technicial with a specialty in holistic health.

I'm sure you will just spew a bunch more cuss words forth but I suggest calling my vet and finding out the truth and anyone else reading this feel free to call and ask about Blade and Jazz's condition.

Please NOTE: I made every attempt to get in contact with our breeder. She ignored me and did not return the call and only sent one facebook email that she cannot contact me due to illness.

Before purchasing any dogs online I'd do your research. I will never buy online again. Learned my lesson the hard way.

I can't believe how you are going to try and blast Angie like that. You said you contacted her? You emailed her and she told you to call her, but did you? Nope. Angie is a very good and nice person she will do whatever she can to make any person happy with any dog. If it was her fault then she would most definitely work something out. You had them dogs like 5-8 years ago and you decide to post something about how the dogs are bad but that was probably your fault since you had them years. Dont blame somebody else when you probably didn't raise those dogs right. You could have been mature and talked to Angie and seen what things could have been done to make you happy instead of being immature and getting on here trying to make her look bad. She has many many happy people who have got dogs from her and then one immature person like you gets on here and has to say something wrong about her. Grow the f up.
