I am not suprised to see John Manno from Summit Realty Group on the ripoff report. Stealing agent commissions is nothing new to these two. I was an agent in San Diego for Summit Realty Group. His partner Travis Breton and himself stopped returning my calls and emails after my deal had closed. They kept $10,000.00 of commission that I earned and wouldn't give me an explantion. John Manno the psycopath that he is, called only to tell me that I was a liar and that I don't deserve my commission.

Weeks went on (my file had been long closed with all completed documents), I got a 3 way call from John Manno and his Partner Travis Breton. They made up reasons why my commission was not paid yet. Johns bullshit went through one ear and out the other. I finally called him out as a liar and a thief, he got defensive and started screaming like a woman that he is.

I finally filed a case with the labor commission in san diego. We head to court this week. I will keep you updated on any further events.

Summit Reatly group is very unproffessional. If you do a google search on Travis Breton, John Manno and the other Manno family members, they all have been sued and fined hundreds and thousands of dollars for fraud. Stay away from them and you will be much better off. Do not fall into the flat fee commission breakdown system. They will take your commission and not give it to you! Then they will try and make up an excuse of why you don't have your commission paid out yet.

GO WORK FOR A IN HOUSE BROKER AND TAKE THE SMALLER CUT. BETTER TO BE LEFT WITH SOMETHING THAN NOTHING AT ALL!!

I don't have proof one way or the other regarding the particular instance at hand, but I can say this: I've worked for John Mannos and with Travis Brenton for going on two years and they're alright with me. I receive commissions from John every month like clockwork and Travis has been nothing but helpful to me.

Regarding the accuser, I can say he sounds unintelligent. Why does he need to swear to get his point across? Emotions have nothing to do with facts. Also, he fluffs his accusation without providing any iron clad facts. Finally he puts down John by calling him a woman. This obviously shows that he discriminates against women, which is not only unethical, in real estate, it unacceptable. This man is clearly not ready to be a real estate agent. I can only imagine what this poorly raised man did to himself to lose this. I feel sorry for him and hope he can find help for himself soon.

I was also a former agent for Summit Realty Group in Sacramento. I have had the same issue happen recently. This is a major problem. I would suggest writing a notice of complaint to your local board and pursuing legal action. I would like to hear more about it and compile a list of incidents. I can be emailed at (((redacted)))

I googled this realty group because most recently i was contacted by cell phone.

Once from someone in Utah then twice from someone in California.

The only name I obtained was Dan Evans 801-225-7287

They were calling on the guise that they were a realty company trying to list my home for me.

Problem: The homes were reported to be in California and Utah.

I have no homes here. Not sure where they are buying the numbers from but this Dan fellow knew my name AND cell phone #

I think this company needs investigated

He is trying to keep my commisions and force me to use their in house services which is illegal. They are withholding commisions as punishment. They won't sign off on closed deals, and then will not pay the commission. They are using steering tactics to use their lender and title companines. Google his brothers name Tim Manno, he was found Guilty of being involved in a ponzi scheme upwards of 40 million dollars. John or Tim if your reading this, I can tell you that distance is not your friend.
