BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

Do a google search for LADY OF AMERICA or National Fitness COMPLAINTS, and you will find pages of complaints about problems with this company.

The owner of the EDISON NJ location, Suzanne RICH, is money hungry and does not care about the people who go to her gym. All she cares about is getting herself more "RICH." She is deceptive during the sales process when you first sign up. Several members I have spoken with have been strangely "unaware" of major elements of their contract and been required to pay for services that they did not want, or did not choose. Upon questioning the owner, members are stranded in a long contract paying fees for unwanted services only to find YOU CAN NOT CANCEL this membership for ANY REASON.

I was told by the owner during the sales process that adding tanning onto my membership was no big deal, because I could take it off at any time. When that time came, there was no possible way to remove the price of tanning off of my bill. Several people have complained that the tanning bed does not even work. In reality, it does not produce results. Its just a tube of flourescent lights that people waste 20 minutes in! You will not get any results with this old outdated tanning bed.

The facility is cramped, the classes are taught by poorly trained instructors, and there are men working in an all -woman facility.

There are NO REFUNDS , by any means, for anything at Lady of America, so please spend your money wisely, because the owner will NEVER GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK... for anything.

Hi.I am an employee of lwe.I worked at curves for years and lwe express is 100% better.I see eager members coming in saying i am ready to workout. They know its a long contract. Then after awhile they decide they dont want to exercise anymore and get mad when they cant cancel. You cannot get out of the contract unless its medical or you move far away.Freezes are good for 6 months only. Most gyms are the same way.If gym owners let there members out of the contract whenever they feel like it, how are owners going to make money? You knew what the club was like when you joined. You must have liked it or you would not have joined.
