does not require any store to refund your money. There is no law stating that and again, they did not sell the freebie as part of the price. Even if it is included in the package unless they charge an additional fee for it they simply did not SELL you the freebie. Again.. your example of racisim does not describe the word in any sense.

Forgot one thing, which is important too. Target store I shop at wasnt always like this. It looks almost as if its a training store. Not all shopping experiences have been bad which is why I had shopped there still, its people like above who break the rules/laws becasue they are new at management and get on a high horse that make shopping experiences a nightmare.

Gift card had nothing to do with the DVD, furthermore, if a product is advertised as a package, doesnt matter if they call it a freebie or not, if its defective by law they are required to replace it. They sold the item with package, there required to replace it if defective or if allowable by law must state at time of purchase the rules when purchasing that particuler item, which they did not follow at all. Far as chargeback went, my bank only charged back for the amount of the DVD, which wasnt purchased with giftcard. I just happened to use my card to finish it up while I was there. Racism and harassment by manager was exactly that and was reported by two of their own employees so I was told when following up on the matter.

Did christmas shopping last minute. CD set Pirates of the Caribbean came with a special pin thats suppose to light up. It didnt and brought the set back. Store Manager Denese who was just one of those supervisor types not the general manager refused to get store manger and said she wouldnt take it back and exchange it for same type despite the sign and receipt stating and opened Dvds, cds will be exchanged if defective with same type. Further more she was disrimiitory and harassed myself throughout the rest of my shopping which I only did to clear out my gift card, as I refused to spend another dime. Was actually on the phone with my bank when she came back and harassed me and they did a chargeback right then and there. Wonderful things about credit cards, if a company like Target tries scamming you, least you have the option to do chargebacks without all the fuss of having to take them to small claims court. ------------------------- I'm wondering... is the pin that lights up part of the cd? Or is it just included in the package as a promotion? Unless it is an actual part of the cd how can you try to return it? If it was included as a promotion than it was really not sold by target. It came with the product they sold, but as an extra, freebie, whatever. They are not responsible for it, take it up with whoever made the cd. Unless it was part of the cd and the cd will not work without it you can't claim the cd is defective and you can't expect them to take a perfectly good cd back so you can have your light up pin that works. And how exactly was she "disrimiitory"? And also what do you mean that you had your bank do a chargeback? Weren't you just there to use up your gift card? Did you spent more than that and put it on your credit card? If you spent it...you should have to pay for it! That's fine and dandy for you that you got your money back, but now you just ripped them off. As in you basically stole from them if you did infact walk out of the store with product and did not end up paying for it. Congratulations. But I guess in your mind they deserved it because they didn't meet your expectations...go to a different store! By the way, in your first post you said racisim takes place at Target. Your example however, shows no racisim WHATSOEVER! That does not define racisim in any sense of the word and your claim is redicoulous! Look it up!

You made two reports about horrible experiences in the store, so you continue to purchase from them?

Forget this being a ripoff. What I just read up on the product from Targets own site scares the heck out of me making me wonder why on earth they even tried selling them in the first place with the many complaints posted. The cribs we were trying to get them to sell us at the advertised price seems to be a hot item that they cant supply all their stores. What scares me is the fact after what I read online makes me ask "Why the heck are they selling this, it can kill a baby?!?!?!" The broken one they tried selling me before, where the customer informed me it was in fact defective with a bad siderail that comes down and can hurt or strangle a baby. Fact they tried selling it to me after they took it back angers me, what angers me even more is they have a section on their website for comments customers made who in fact bought the item and my god, the complaints they have showing the same problem and yet their selling it. What this tells me, the buck is more important then safety, and I really hope no one has been killed be these things. I consider myself lucky I didnt get them. Rather spend few dollers more on something fully tested and rated well then worry I might wake up and find one of my children dead.
