This place is a complete joke. In the beginning they told me that I had to complete an externship to complete my program, which was fine! Well, they were having such a hard time with finding companies that would accept the students, so they changed it to you didn't have to do the extern. Well, I completed all my courses, I got 1 out of 4 or 5 vendors exams complete, got an "A" or high "B" in my regular class sessions, got all my required class hours in, etc. I went in to do some follow up with the instructors so I could get my other vendor exams scheduled and taken.
Well when I went in to do this, they pulled me in and told me that I had to talk to the financial aid person there on campus. I went in to her office, the receptionist, and the guy that is head of dept of education there at the school sat down and told me, that me and a few other people could not complete our courses because we voluntarily withdrew from the program because I didn't complete my extern within the time frame they said I had to complete it. They don't know why, when, or how this happend but their hands were tied. The dept of education head said that I was not allowed on campus, I could not get a copy of my transcript, and I was unable to use their facility anymore since I was officially no longer a student there!!! Everything was being hush hush with the "higher up's" so everyone involved was completely blind sighted! They told me that I wasn't the only one they have done this too. I was told that if I wanted to get my certifications, that I would have to pay for them out of pocket because I no longer had the funding to take them through the school.
A couple other things, close to the end of my term, they let go several of the employees there that actually done their jobs. One person they got rid of that was the best thing that happened to that place, was our Career Services lady. She was amazing!! She done a lot of research for us students to get us placed into our externships, and even job placement. After they let her go, they "said" they have the department head that took her place. I never seen her on campus, never talked to her and had no clue who she was. It seems all the drastic moves or actions seemed to center around a move of the campus. After the move, none of the students appeared happy. There was constant changes in "their" rules and regulations, nothing consistent.
Now, I have no certifications, I did obtain a copy of my transcript, and now I am stuck with paying for the full amount of the tuition! I WILL NOT pay for this so called education I was given. I do have federal student loans for this place, but I refuse to pay these! The school will have to give our a full refund in my opinion. Yes, I did get some knowledge out of it, but I wasted my time with these people. I wasted gas, possible working hours, etc. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business.
