Telacris Ignorant and discriminating eugene, Oregon
I have been homeless for 3 months now, living in my car and seeking employment. I am 59 years old and bath almost daily my clothes are clean. I set up an appointment to donate plasma with Telacris in Eugene, Oregon. I called first and made sure I had everything I needed, social security card, mail with an address on it, drivers licsence. I got there at 8am to get an appointment at noon.
I waited several hours, came back and had my picture taken . They checked my address and saw that it was located at a church, I use this address to receive mail. They called me into a back room and told me I could not donate because I am homeless. The reason being is that homeless people are not clean, have more bacteria and cars are dirty places to live.
I ended up spending money on gas to get there and left with nothing. When you are down on your luck you should be treated better.
