Houston,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I used to work there and realized I hated the company. They are so disorganized and hardly make any changes towards the organization's behavior or culture. The ONE department responsible for receiving faxes and letters is so slow with responding to faxes, sending out correspondence, etc. etc. SLOW IN PRODUCTION I TELL YOU!! About half the consumers I spoke to that had to fax a document would say things like "I faxed this 1 month ago, 2 weeks ago, etc., etc." So many consumers never got their problem resolved. The problem is, when ONE department such as the research dept. is SLOW IN PRODUCTION AND DOES NOT RESPOND TO CONSUMER DOCUMENTS SUCH AS REQUESTS AND FAXES (it happened way, way too much), it ruins it for the other departments and causes their production time to slow down because of their slack. Employees from the customer service department has to speak to and hear the complaints and frustration from consumers (I DONT' BLAME THEM) for longer times than expected(calls from consumers have to adhere to a performance standard goal where the call has to be finished in a certain amount of time) because the RESEARCH dept. does not get off their A**ES or they don't hire enough people to respond to customer requests and faxes at a much faster pace!!!! So their SLOW PRODUCTION OR NO PRODUCTION was ruining it for the customer service dept. who has to be the one to tell the consumers "I'm sorry, your requests or fax has not been processed." Then the complaints start after we tell them the bad news. Also, we ended up having to tell them to request or fax again!!! Because of the complaints and the repeated info we had to tell consumers, our calls with them would end up being too long!! IN THE END, THIS COMPANY STRUCTURE IS SO DISORGANIZED. THEY NEEDED NEW MANAGERS OR BETTER HIGHER-LEVEL MANAGERS THAT KNEW HOW TO CHANGE ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR AND STRUCTURE TO REACH GOALS, BUT WAIT, I DON'T THINK RESPONDING TO CONSUMER REQUESTS IN A REASONABLE TIME IS A GOAL IN THEIR STRATEGY!!??
