On January 2,2009 I spoke with and sent Stacey Krueger of the Bulldog Exchange a $1,294 deposit for a mini english bulldog puppy. Prior to me sending the deposit we had communicated via computer several times. I had also visited her website several times and conducted research on this company months in advance. I did not find any negative results.

Stacey stayed in contact with me constantly, responding almost immediatly to any questions via phone and/or email. On January 22,2009 approximately 10 days prior to when my puppy was supposed to be shipped; I paid the balance for my puppy $1.295. Stacey told me via email and via phone my pup would be shipped during the last week of January. During that week she immediately stopped responding to my emails and phone calls.

On January 29,2009 I received an email stating the company had gone out of business and I would not be receiving my puppy. When I tried to call the phone line was diconnected. It was only after I sent her several emails explaining to her I an in lawenforcement and I have already made a police report as well as contacted a friend of mine in the fraud divison of her local Sheriff's Department did she call me (and from a new tlephone number).

After listening to her crying, saying it's the merchant's fault, her father is sick , and my bank has to give my money back because I didnot receive the puppy. I STILL DONOT have a puupy nor do I have my money back! My bank will not refund the money because I used a bank debit card not a credit card and there was a signed consent authorizing her to debit the funds. Dispite her promisses to try and repay/ help me get my money back, Stacey has not returned my phone calls.

She did however mention to me, not sounding worried at all that her lawyer advised her this is only a civil matter. So since she isn't worried and it will cost me more money to sue her; I'm going to do just that SUE HER!! I would advise anyone looking for a mini bulldog puppy to stay away from THE BULLDOG EXCHANGE and any MBCOA websites. If you can't pick your puppy up in person don't trust it. They even had those fraud alerts on their websites too. I guess they were trying to eliminate their own competition!

There is the Nigerian Pet Adoption SCAM where these people will pretend to be CHRISTIAN missionaries who want you to adopt this incredibly cute puppy. ( They steal a photo off the itnernet as "proof" they have a real puppy, the only problem is, THE PUPPY THEY ALLEGEDLY HAVE FOR ADOPTION HAS NEVER AND DOES NOT EXIST! But they will con you into saying that you have to pay for shipping and handling, the crate the pup comes in, shots, international customs fees, taxes, etc. & etc. until you realize that you have paid out a lot of money and the puppy never existed or maybe you snap to this fact at any stage before they co n you out of too much money. AND THEN YOU HAVE SCAMMERS IN THE US WHO CLAIM TO HAVE A KENNEL AND SEVERAL SCAMS ARE POSSIBLE: 1. They never had a puppy either, just like the Nigerian PET ADOPTION SCHEME. 2. THEY SEND YOU SICK, GENETICALLY DEFECTIVE OR THE CULLS ( "WORSE") OF THE LITTER TO GET RID OF THE DOGS THEY DON'T WANT. MANY OF THESE ARRIVE DEAD BECAUSE THEY NEVER GOT THEIR PARVOVIRUS OR CORONA VIRUS SHOTS OR THE HEARTWORM OR OTHER PARASITE INFESTATION PLUS STRESS OF SHIPPING KILLS THEM! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER A PUPPY OFF OF THE INTERNET OR ANYWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU CAN'T SEE IT, THE PARENTS, THE PLACE WHERE THE PUPPY IS BRED AND RAISED ( AVOID PUPPY MILLS!). YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT THE VET RECORDS ARE REAL BY BEING ABLE TO CALL THE VET ON THE PHONE AND GET HIS OR HER NUMBER BY DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE TO SEE IF HE OR SHE IS A REAL VET AND NOT SOME JUST SOME FRIEND POSING AS A VET. THOSE VET VISITS AND THOSE PARVO AND CORONA VIRUS SHOTS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF GETTING YOUR DOG LOCALLY FROM A BREED-SPECIFIC RESCUE GROUP OR A ANIMAL SHELTER. YOU WILL BE SAVING A LIFE, YOU WILL GET TO PICK THE BREED OF DOG THAT YOU WANT, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING EXISTS AND MANY SHELTERS HAVE A HISTORY OF THE DOG OR PUPPY. YOU WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE DOG/PUPPY. AND, YES YOU CAN FILE CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST THIS PERSON FOR THEFT --THE AMOUNT IS OVER$1,000 --OR YOU CAN IN MY STATE ANYWAY. SHE STOLE MONEY FROM YOU --IF SHE DID WHAT YOU ALLEGE AND YOU CAN PROVE IT! YOU CAN ALSO GET HER ON CIVIL CHARGES OF FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION AND IF IT DID INVOLVE INTERSTATE COMMERCE, IT COULD BE A FEDERAL CHARGE! YOU MIGHT WANT TO SEE IF THE FBI CAN BE CONTACTED IN CASE OF INTERSTATE COMMERCE FRAUD BUT YOU CAN REPORT IT WITH YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. IF THIS WOMAN DID WHAT YOU CLAIM SHE DID --SHE IS IN MORE TROUBLE THAN SHE KNOWS!
