The Foto Factory Studio is a business that goes to retail stores such as Sam's Club where our incident occurred. Then a high pressure sales person talks you into having pictures done for a reasonable rate later offering you the rest for a ridiculous price. So we agreed to have our pictures taken of us and our daughter who at the time was only a few months old.
We placed our deposit and made an appointment. A week later we showed up for our appointment early to give time to be ready. We were made to wait a little over hour even though having scheduled an appointment. We had of photographs taken and this is where our story begins. The photographer was really cocky with us and told us he didn't take pictures of children under the age of one, but then went ahead and proceeded to take the pictures and complain the entire time because our daughter was crying. So we finished here and were told we would receive a call to come pick up our pictures the following week.
The following week we never received a call so as the week progressed we decided to drive over to Sam's Club to see what was going on with our photographs. The Foto Factory Studio people we're not there and didn't leave any contact information as to when or where we could see our photos. The following week we drove back to Sam's Club to check again on our photos again same thing the company had not been back or left any contact information. The third week after having our photos taken we received a letter in the mail with the date and time to come see our photos. Once again for our appointment we had to wait for over an hour before we were allowed to see our photos.
When it was finally time, the guy was very rude with us but after waiting all this time we really just wanted to get our photos and be done with dealing with this company. He showed us the photo we paid for, then offered us really ridiculously priced package deals that we were not aware of before having the photos taken otherwise we would of declined as just two months prior we just had a child. We didn't have the money to pay for the pictures be really wanted to get them still. We talked to the guy and asked what our other options could possibly be to get our photos. We worked out a package deal that was cheaper and asked for the price he said "Put 20% down, and you can send a check to the studio." We then asked when we would receive or photos. He replied, "once the we receive the payment, they will be sent out within a week." We went home wrote a check, mailed it in the next day. On November 17th, 2009 the check cleared the bank so we figured we had a week or two to finally be done with this company and receive our photos. Its now been almost a year, I've called called and called leaving voice mails and waiting for a reply. They took our money for services and products, which we never received.
