On July 28, 2001 I came across the "Wonderful Opportunity" of closeout buying. I sent in a post card type application to the Zaken Company to find out about their home business program. I also included the $10.00 fee so that, as Tiran Zaken put it, "I would pay attention and be serious about his wonderful program." the card and the $10.00 was sent to:

U.S.A.
I was very surprised that when August 20, 2001 rolled around I had not received anything in the mail from Mr. Zaken. All the literature said that I would receive the information packet in 5-7 business days. On August 26, 2001 after returning home from my vacation I found a large white flat envelope with the return address of the Zaken Company. However, the return address was not Staten Island, New York,but Granada Hill, CA. Address number two appears below:

Once I opened the envelope I found a letter right one top with the heading, "I Owe You An Apology" This letter of apology stated that the company had just moved from their New York location to California, and that, "Unfortunately, you order came at a very bad time....." Zaken then blamed the U.S. Postal Service for mixing up his mail between the two locations. The interesting part is that at the top of the letter of apology the return address was as follows:

A quick search of http:\\www.zipcode.com revealed that this third address was non-exsistant in the national zip code directory. There were, "No records to return!" I did not immediately notice the difference in addresses because the address are printed very small on the page. I have trouble reading small print with out my glasses and didn't take the trouble going to get them. Well, if anyone out there is thinking about this program they should not only go for their glasses they should take out a magnifier on this company.
To continue, "Oh!" yes there is more, After reading the enclosed manual "How To Use The Power of My Wealth-Building Techniques" and hearing all the promisses of free long distance phone calls as everyone else has reported here on http:\\www.ripeoffreport.com. I decided to try my had at close out buying because the one point in his manual that really gives this credibility is the one statement he makes , "Every year millions of new products come out. Companyies continue to change their product lines to keep competitive edge in their business.
Clothes styles change, etc, etc. This is why there is so much money to be made from close out buying." Well that statement is true. I thought that getting into this business as a "PARTNER" with "FREE PHONE CONSULTATION" would be a nice way to build a home business. Zaken then made the pitch of how this program is going to in the future cost thousands of dollars, but for participation in his market research for which only 50 people would qualify would only cost $148.00 plus S & H. Well not wanting to delay I thought it over for a couple of days then called the toll free number. This was on August 31, 2001. However, I used my credit card to pay for the purchase. Today is September 9, 2001 and I have not received my plan or has my credit card been charged. This is the saving part after reading these complaints at this web site I will immediately put a stop payment to his little game. I will also return any products I receive in the mean time, let me see now which address should I use........hmmmm!

This whole thing stinks and being a retired police officer my professional advise is this needs investigating. Maybe since Mr. Zaken is having so much trouble with his mail I should give my friends down at the Postal Inspection Service a call. I am sure they can get to the bottom of Mr. Zaken's problem. They will probablygive him a brand new address that the Postal Service will get right every time, Mr. Zaken, Levinworth, KS.
