One of the worst film editors I've worked with (and I've worked with many) I guess this is what I get for hiring somebody off of Craigslist.
I told him that it was very important to get the work done by a certain time frame, and he took the job saying he can do it. (It was a veyr simple task).
He ends up being a day and a half late. He doesn't communicate and doesn't give a crap who it effects.
It's 2013 and his website doesn't even accept Payments. He doesn't have a Paypal. Nope. Instead, he wants you to pay his cell phone bill, with the number of 3232729727 even though he's texting you from 5629994748
I'm not sure if this guy was a scam artist. But what kind of professional film editor doesn't accept payments online and makes you pay his cell phone bill instead. He also stated that he can take my credit card info over the phone! lol Like I'd fall for that...
He ended up screwing over a LOT of people in the project, which had a deadline. And it could've gone to other people.
If he can't do the task, then COMMUNICATE. But the way he handles it, it's obvious this guy doesnt' care about anybody but himself, and he clearly will NEVER make it in the film industry.
