While flipping through the channels, I came across the Think & Lose information. After listening, I decided to place an order. The woman that answered the phone said the name of a different company. I asked if it was Think & Lose and she said that she could help me with that if I would wait a moment.

This woman then began to read information regarding the Think & Lose products to me. She quoted the price for the DVD as $29.95 and then added in the MP3 player. I told her that I did not want to spend that much money and that I really wasn't interested in the MP3 player. She said that she would send me the MP3 player and the DVD for the combined price of $29.95. She then continued with the information regarding the FREE BONUS GIFT, which was the Thin & Slim Energizer. I told her that I was not interested in the product. She said that if was FREE and she would send it.

The DVD and MP3 player arrived without and packing information. A second package arrived a week or so later. This package contained the Energizer and a packing slip and I realized that Think & Lose had debited my account for the amount of $82.85. That is quite different than $29.95!

I called customer service and Susan said that they were really sorry that she quoted me that price, but there was no way that could sell that product for $29.95, and there really wasn't much that they could do for me. Then Susan offered to take $10.00 off or send me additional DVD's.

I canceled and future shipments of the Energizer and requested a return authorization. I was informed that I would not be refunded the shipping and that I would have to pay the shipping for returning the items.

It is going to cost me somewhere around $25.00 in shipping charges for a product that I did not want, but was sent as a "gift". Not only that, but I understand that they can send me future shipments and debit my account for these products. My only recourse is to dispute the charges.

In my opinion, a reputable company would have handled this problem in a much different manner.

BEWARE OF DEALING WITH THIINK AND LOSE.

I've ordered a lot of stuff online and one thing I learned is to read each category carefully.  I ordered a download of a book and it was okay.  It went well, except that they offer you a free trial or free stuff and that's when they hook you.  Don't say yes, to any free stuff!  Believe me it'll cost you at the end on a monthly basis.

I also never back the page up after I put in my credit card info cause it will double the order.  When I mess up, and I see that they will bill my debit card for future orders, I simply go to the bank and tell them I lost my debit card and they will issue me a new one and that company is be s.o.l.  Or if you use a real credit card, immediately call the credit card company.  I'd rather order on line than from a real person cause at least I'm reading the fine print and I won't get scammed to order more than I need.  yogi garcia
