I expect that next time you'll remember your glasses. I hadn't heard that one before.

You knew when you went to the dealership YOU were going to be presented with a CONTRACT which would obligate YOU to certain terms and conditions. YOU knew that! YOU knew that was the process of buying a car. YOU apparently had ZERO plans to even read that contract BEFORE you signed it otherwise YOU would have made sure YOU had your glasses so YOU could read it! They did this because they knew many people do EXACTLY as you did...sign here, sign there and NEVER, EVER read what they are signing! Tell me, how dumb is that???? Should they have kept their word? Of course! However, you are dealing with The Sleazy American Car Business! Lying and deception is a way of life in their world. You and I counteract that by being a smart consumer and doing what we can to protect our own interests. Reading and understanding what we are about to obligate ourselves is part of that.
