Bad Quality Watches

I purchased a ring and watch for TimePieces International.  The stones on the ring fell off and the screws on the watch fell off.  Later, the part of the waste band became detached and they refused to replace my watch.

I will avoid them at all cost in the futur.   I paid $300 for a poor quality watch and I feel scammed.

Their website is Timepiecesusa.com

Keshena Genini is the supervisor I spoke to and she appeared not to be surprised that the watch fell apart.  After I did more research about the company, I found all bad reviews.  I Urge people to do their research before buying anything from this company.

Very Poor Quality Watches. Do Not Buy

The above relpy by Timepieces International is dishonest.  I had the watch for less than 60 days when it started falling apart.  I paid $300 for a $10 watch according to my assessment.

They mention that they have a good rating on Varified Reviews.  Verified Reviews is a company that helps low quality companies like Timepieces International improve their poor ratings.  Every other rating medium has TimePieces international rated very poorly.

Their Yelp rating is poor, their Better Business Bureau rating is very poor.  Their rating on the Rip Off Report is all negative.  I assure you that you would be better off buying jewlery from a street vendor than Timepieces international.

If you send them items by mail, they tend to loose the items.  I do not know how I got scammed like this but please learn from my mistake.

Any other company would have replaced my watch with no questions asked if it fell apart less than 60 days of purchase.  The fact that they only warrant their jewlery for 30 days should tell you a lot about them.

It is worth noting that the watch we are now discussing was delivered to the customer several months ago as it was shipped on 12.30.16. We have offered to repair the watch free of charge and to ensure that this is returned to the customer ‘as good as new’. In order to ensure that there is no cost to the customer we have provided a free returns postage label and we will also pay for the return shipping to the customer.

The ring that was defective was replaced free of charge. When we replaced the ring we sent two rings in alternative sizes for the customer to choose between along with a free returns label to return the unwanted size. While we wouldn’t normally do this we felt that a goodwill gesture was appropriate. The excess item has as of yet neither been returned nor paid for.

We feel that offering to repair the watch to 'as good as new' standard of issues that are not covered under our movement warranty completely free of charge (including shipping both ways) is not unreasonable for an item that is several months old.

We have a 8.9/10 rating from over 1,700 reviews with Verified Reviews (an independant review site) and have been in business for over 21 years, and have an A rating with the BBB. We are unhappy that Kamal feels that he has been scammed, but we are most assuredly a long-standing, reputable company that always aims to provide customer satisfaction.
