Tonsofrentals looks good on paper and in their brochures. However, try and get one of the agents to return a call, email or text. We were looking for a place to rent and actually found it by driving around, not by their ads. When we contacted the person at the number on the sign - they NEVER called back. Countless emails and phone calls and somehow the housing situation must be better in North Carolina than in other places in the country, as they never could be bothered. So we walked up to the house and rang the doorbell of the property we were interested in renting. We worked out a deal with the owner, as he was fed up with the lousy service, unresponsive requests, ridiculous "one size fits all" lease and countless other snafus on the part of this company. STAY AWAY! AVOID them at all costs, if you want to list your home, use another service / property manger or Craigslist! They have no professional integrity as a company and TonsofRentals should be shut down immediately. I'm now writing to BBB and any other entity in the area that will take my complaint. Spread the word. Their fees are outrageous and they give the owner NO SERVICE for that %. BEWARE!!!!!
