We have lived here at Sawmill Creek for a while now and we can assure you that Tony Griffi is an outstanding man and employee. He always goes "the extra mile" for anyone that needs assistance and does so with a smile on his face. I would trust this man explicitly with any business dealings I ever have here at Sawmill but unfortunately for us, he is leaving to live closer to his family. We just hope his replacement can do half the job, with the same unwavering honesty and true spirit of our club, as Tony does now.

I have known Tony Griffi for 10 years as a member at Sawmill Creek and also my son worked for Tony for Two summers in the back shop at the golf course. In all my years knowing Tony he has been nothing short of honest, friendly and a first class individual in every way. As a golf pro and more recently as the food and beverage manager he has transformed a once weak department into an asset to any company. In my opinion any company would be fortunate to have Tony as an employee. I know it is time for him to move closer to his Grandchildren but he will be fondly remembered at Sawmill Creek Golf and Country Club.

I cannot imagine this complaint about Tony Griffi as being accurate. I worked at Sawmill Golf Course back in 2004-5 and I was hired and worked directly for Tony. He was very patient with the new staff while managing all golf programs. Tony and I have crossed paths many times since I left and he always made a point to say hi and have a conversation.
He handled himself as a gentleman, very professional as he interacted with employees and members/guests alike. My background is in sales and customer service and Tony impressed me with how accommodating he was, how he could juggle many things at one time and always keep the CUSTOMER as his focus and go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction.
I do question this person laying this complaint and how he or she can be speaking about the Tony Griffi at Sawmill Golf Course in Camlachie. The Tony I know would never treat a customer in the way it is suggested; no matter how bad a golfer he or she was....they would get full value and then some.

Who pays this kind of money for 20 golf lessons? Nobody! Remove this charge at once from this website. Tony would never have done this!!! The person who files something like this is very sick.

I have been a member of Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa for several years. I have had many dealings with Tony Griffi for various reasons for the entire time he has been employed at Sawmill. We have partnered with Sawmill and Tony for several years, for Golf Events, our Annual Non Profit Fundraising Event (13 Years), staff training, training camp accomodations(resort) and for several meals etc. I must report that in my personal experience I have nothing but respect and admiration for the professionalism of Mr. Griffi. I have never experienced any wrongdoing by Tony. Tony has been very accomodating, friendly, and helpful in all my dealings there. I have known Tony as both the CPGA Club Professional as well as the head of events and catering. He has been a "Top Notch" Individual in all my dealings with him at Sawmill over the years, as long as I have known him.

I am a long-time member at Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and have known Tony for many years. I have dealt with him as both a golf pro and as manager of our Clubhouse facilities. In all respects, I have nothing but praise for the manner in which Tony has performed his duties. He is very personable and professional. I find it extremely hard to believe that the things reported by the complainant to this website can be true.
He has always been honest, provided what has been promised and is always willing to go the extra mile to provide service in our interactions. He is leaving Sawmill Creek this month and will be missed.

I learned the game of golf, when Tony Griffi was head professional at our golf course. Tony was instrumental in my learning the game, and the enjoyment of it. When I began, I was offered the opportunity to receive lessons, through Tony. In all the options he offered me, there was never an option that contained 20 lessons, let alone 20 prepaid lessons! Tony always had his door open to help new golfers, experienced golfers, and those with just basic questions. However, at no time was Tony unavailable to his membership.
I'm sorry to see this type of false accusation posted on the internet.

Our family of 4 have been members of this golf course since its inception. We have seen many pros and food and beverage personnel come and go over our time there. During his tenure as head pro the class of the organization improved significantly. He trained his staff to host first rate tournaments and to take care of the guests of our course. Our son was one of the backshop employees and part of the caddy program which he ran. He invested significant time in developping the staff and teaching them how to do their job well. He was firm and fair and did a great job in helping those staff reach their potential. He developped a first rate junior golf program which was then a model for other facilities in our area. He modelled for his more senior staff how to engage people and develop the organization.
Food and beverage had been a very much underdevelopped area within our course and when Tony stepped into the role as F&B manager we started immediately to see improvement in terms of service and customer satisfaction. Tony was easily one of the hardest working staff and was personally there to ensure events ran smoothly. He worked long hours acted on feedback from customers and had many great ideas to improve things. His training of on course service personnel and his knowledge of the golf industry helped allow them to provide helpful service in a way. As a member of this course who has had significant experience in the golf industry Tony is an asset to the organization and does not deserve to be maligned.

I've known Tony Griffi for over 20 years and worked under him for 10 as a golf professional. I'm a Head Golf Professional and can say with absolute certainty that this person's statement is completely false in every way. Tony has always been a stand up professional well respected in the industry by his members and his peers.
In fact I worked along side Tony at the time of this report and know he does not offer a 20 lesson package at the rate of $1775 as this person states. Quite frankly nobody in their right mind would pay that up front for a 20 lesson package which makes this report all the more fraudulant and unbelieveable.
Shame on this cowardly person who remains behind the curtains for obvious reasons for trying to taint the name of Tony Griffi. I would recommend Tony to anyone as a professional, respectful, hard working, true, honest person who makes everyone around him better.

I am the General Manager at Sawmikk Creek. I would certainly have heard if one of my employees cheated a customer. Both reports on Ripoff are completely false. I have nothing but the highest of praise for Tony. He is honest beyond fault and a very valuable part of my team.

I have worked at four great golf clubs in my career, each having 500 members who would gladly tell you how honest I am, how loved I am and what an incredible job I have done for them. Every golf professional that knows me would say the same thing. It is a crime that slander such as this is allowed. Shame on the person who wrote this trash.
