This is to anyone who read my original complaint and feels it necessary to school me on the rules of finance!! All I wanted, all any of these GOOD people that have come on hard times wanted, was R-E-S-P-E-C-T!! We are all entitled to that. Anyone who is a Triad customer, late or on time, deserves RESPECT from Triad. Any finance company who breaks the law and says things like "go sell your engagment ring" or "steal from you mother" are all reprehensible. Anyone who would defend a finance company who says things like that are equally reprehensible. I've worked in finance all my life. I've done collections. Guess what? I was the best agent in my office. You know why? Because when people relaized it was me on the line they answerd. They called me back, they explained their situation. THEY PAID!!! You know why? Because I treated them with RESPECT! I also worked with them which is something Triad knows nothing about. What can you say? Things happen. People get sick, they die, they loose jobs, they have children, they have accidents, they have losses. They need dental work, a new boiler, new plumbing, or medications. That's just the way it is. Sure, there are dead beets who take out loans and never repay. Call their finance company cursing and yelling, but that IS NOT everyone. Most people are good people who fell on hard times who are trying to do right. Most people try their best. They don't deserve to get beat up. What kind of a disgusting, disgraceful person would look at what these people said to me (said to all of us) and think thats ok or justified? How do you sleep at night? How can you even look another human being in the face? You are a black soul and God will punish you. BIG TIME!

Hmm....why would ANYONE defend this terrible company? Perhaps they/he/she (probably the same person) are associated with Triad? They really seem to take WAY too much umbrage at the accusations leveled at Triad. It is SO obvious! Legitimate companies will always try to work with you - and at the very least they act professionally. Companies like this - well, look at how THEY behave and you can tell that if their reps act like that then they'll do other shady stuff, too. STEER CLEAR!

I was researching this company when I came across your comments. I appreciated feedback on the company. Also, thank you for your full explanation on the matters. This was very useful in helping me decide the reputability of your comments. For being a financial expert; I am surprised by your lack of professionalism. I am also very amazed that such a guru would write a review like this at all. Let's break it down just a little. If you have bad credit, that means that you have had plenty of other excuses as to why you couldn't pay anyone else prior to this incident. If you are late on a payment, that immediately sends a red flag that maybe you are falling into your old bad habits. Naturally, they are going to push you harder than another consumer that actually pays there bills. To break it down even more, if you have a friend that asks to borrow $100 that never has paid you back before, are you going to give them the $100? And if you do, are you just going to let them pay you back whenever they feel like it, if they even do pay you back, without calling them about it? What I don't understand, is why you don't understand. I obviously have bad credit since I was researching the company. I'm actually surprised that I wasted all this time on something so silly like this. You information was just so incredible I couldn't resist. I don't expect anyone to loan me several thousands of dollars without carefully monitoring every payment because of my bad history. Higher interest rates usually follow bad credit (which I'm sure you know because you are an expert on finances). Good luck hating everyone else because of your bad circumstances.

Sorry Aubrey, it won't work. Stepping in for your compadre to spin everything to make Marie look like a victim won't work. I don't recall anyone here asking for Marie's help on this thread, nor do we need another Triad bucket carrier coming on here defending their sorry business practices. It is our sincere hope that Triad will go down, and their owners or CEO, CFO, or whoever is the kingpin of this operation goes to prison. You might want to keep your eye out on the job ads, because you may just find yourself employed by a defunct company someday, hopefully soon. Tell Marie when you see her at your next break that your little tag team effort was wasted.

Dearest Aubrey, I want to thank you so kindly for your lesson on finance. It certainly was useful to me. You see, I only have my masters in finance and have been working for one of the largest finaincial firms for the past five years, so I am a total novice at this! I am sure that you know way more than me so THANK YOU! Now, here's a little help straight from me to you. Before you post your oh so helpful suggestions, you may want to actually READ the complaints from start to finish, and then if you don't understand, read it again! Any other human being reading my post would PLAINLY see that I was not "sweating" their calls. Triad did not frighten me or make me nervous in any shape or form. They insulted me. They insulted my family. The advised me to perform (illegal) acts of theft. They treated me with extreme disrespect. They refused to follow the laws put in place by this government to protect indivisuals such as myself. They were BEASTLY This was my complaint, this was the tone of my post. Had you really been reading, you would have seen that. And just for the record, I don't recall ANYONE asking for Marie's or your opinion. Open your eyes! Good day to you.

Review you contracts: The majority of you have a contract that states the LATE FEE will be applied after the 10th day of being past due. If you reviewed your contract, you'd also see most of you have Simple Interest Loans. That means finance charges accumulate DAILY. So, if you're bill is just a few days past due, why break a sweat that Triad calls you to A. Get your payment in ASAP to avoid the late fees. B. Save you money on your interest. C. Help you in your plan to establish/repair your credit. As soon as your one day past due on a Simple Interest Loan, you start accruing interest that shouldn't be there (because YOU are late). Once your payment's received, more of your money goes to interest, and not principle. Being late just conistently at the early stages of your loan can leave you with owing THOUSANDS when you're loan matures. A lot of these issues stem from you all being past due and late. If you want to avoid the hassle, pay on time, just as you stated you would on your legal binding contract. Who could blame Marie for not posting again. You asked for help, she offered it, and you took it as your chance to slander and take shots at her. Please take the time to review your contracts thoroughly as well as your conduct when doing business. You wouldn't walk in to your bank and talk that way would you?

Have you noticed that "Marie" hasn't rebutted for awhile? Do you think "it" was released from "it's" duties? I've also noticed that Triad's "legal" department isn't rebutting trying to make everything all better by "contacting them". Do they finally see the dark at the end of the tunnel? The only thing I can suggest is anyone dealing with Triad, get a $35 telephone recorder and when they call to harass, record them. I think the department that makes the harassing calls is in TX. As long as you the customer are in a one party State, you don't have to tell them you are recording the call. Each State is different. I know MN is a one party State. If anyone can get the calls recorded, and have the proof of harassment, let me know and I will inform the Editor of Rip-off of a National Consumer Attorney that is the best!!!! He has sued Triad numerous times. Joannie, glad to hear everything has worked out for you so far. Don't get too comfortable though, I have a feeling your not done with Triad yet. Read the other posts as suggested by D. You'll be awed at the one where the car was repo'd and they didn't have Triad. The person they bought it from did and paid it off. If you hane a lot (yes a lot) of down time, read the other Triad posts. Keep well.

Join the club! You are one of about a million people who have been treated like scum by these beasts. I'm glad to know that you got out from under them when you did. It's obvious just how inept these people are. Their left hand never knowing what their right hand is doing. Just keep watching this post; soon you will see a post from a company shill named "Marie". She is a CSR for Triad, and she will come on here and defend her beloved company and make you wanna puke. Her job in life is to surf this site looking for posts complaining about Triad so she she can come on here and defend them. I too have, by the grace of God, escaped Triad last weekend. I traded in my SUV(which I really loved)but it was the only way to get away from them. The new loan hasn't funded yet, and my loan with Triad will go 30 days late as of May 15 (Monday)... I hope the loan will get paid off by the dealer by then. Triad is the type of company that would maliciously put late payments on one's credit record just for giggles. I think I would have a giant joy-gasm to hear that Triad was shut down by the Feds and the owners in the slammer. There is an effort on this site to get a class-action lawsuit going against them. You would just freak when you see what this 800lb gorilla comany is doing to other people! Do a search for Triad and see pages and pages of horror stories about Triad. Good luck with your new car!
