How can the term slander be used by an individual who has no knowledge of what went on here? Having been married to an attorney and just by having lived, slander indicates some untruths, so I can rest easy since there are none in my report!

In this report, actor Joe Wilson, Jr. is described as an "ingrate" and "ungratful". I question the validity of this. What specifically is your basis? I have worked at other theatres with Joe Wilson Jr., and in all my dealings with Mr. Wilson, he has been an extremely hard-working and reasonable person to work with. He had never shown any sign of disrespect to his fellow employees, whether they be performers, crew members, or general operating staff. He was gracious to our audience members for their response. He even dealt professionally with a few overzealous fans, without ever losing his composure. I really take issue with the way you slander an individual in this report, especially considering that individual's career may be affected by slander, and that individual is NOT even the subject of this report. You made a donation to Trinity Rep. They are the ones you should have been looking to for thanks - not Joe Wilson. Also, while 2 weeks may be an long time to refund a donation, it must be noted that Trinity Rep relies on donations for its operating budget, and it may not be the most simple thing to process. I highly doubt they were stalling in order to scare you in any way. They simply makes no business sense for a theatre.
