Tripleupherbal Or Quality Health Scammed by trial offer for Vital-RezV (Resveratrol)..Company goes by different names. China? Internet
Trial sample ordered 6-1-2009, received 6-12, and cancelled by phone the same day. TripleUpHerbal's (sometimes called QualityHealth ) customer service vowed to email instructions for returning within 24-48 hours and credit my account $3.95. A second phone call with the same results was made 6-15-09. Instructions still did not come.
Called Bank of America 6-17-09 to ask charges be removed. I was told to wait 30 days & in the meantime return merchandise. I expressed concern about TripleUpHerbal's lack of response and fear they may proceed with charging my account $79.95 plus foreign transaction fees if Bank of America did not put a stop to it before the trial date expired.
A note was made on my file and I was told I had to cancel directly with Tripleuherbal before B of A could stop future charges. Catch 22: company unreachable. Sure enough they charged my card 6/22/09.
Called and emailed numerous times. All phone calls either not answered or gone right into Hold mode', with my staying on the line for over 20 minutes each time before giving up. Contact Us on the website erases the fields as soon as I press Submit Query.
No return address on the package. The post office attempted to find a return address via the bar code on the package with no success. The post office also stated that there is no way they can verify that I attempted to return a package without a return address, and suggested Bank of America can locate Triple Up Herbal.
The only correspondence received from Triple Up Herbal or Quality Health was an email dated 6-21-09 (10 days after I cancelled by phone), stating, As you have not emailed us that you would like to return us the unused portion of the pills at the end of 15 days, we thank you for the acceptance of our product and we have now charged your order VRZ-303-0134407641 $79.95 for the product received. I immediately replied, and again, have not had any response.
I hold Bank of America partly responsible for this scam after discovering I am one of probably thousands who have been ripped off by TripleupHerbal or Quality Health and a number of other bogus company names from the same source. It seems Bank of America runs into this scam daily and continues to deal with it in the same rigid, righteous procedure. This is an infringement of consumers' rights which B of A ignores.
I see a $1.20 charge on last month's phone bill from out of the country long distance charges to 780-833-1139, Triple Up herbal's NEW customer service hotline. I hate to see the next bill. It should be at least another $50 worth of HOLD calls!
