I am the original complaintant and after calling Tristar to find out where my pasta pots were, I was told that they were on backorder until May. The next day, I called them back asking for my money back since they had cashed my check and hadn't bothered to let me know the product was on backorder. The gentleman was very nice and said that that was no problem. I called on 3/27/03 and he said checks were processed on Fridays and mailed on Mondays. On 4/7/03, I still hadn't received the check and called back. I was told the transaction had been processed. Reluctantly, I hung up and on 4/9/03, I received a check in the mail from Tristar refunding my money. The phone number I finally got is 800-354-1073, hours 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. Hopefully, this will help and everyone can get their money back.
