Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I just found out that I have been charged for $14.95 a month for 19 months in the row from Truecredit from Transunion. Every year, I aways signed up for credit report one from Annual Credit Report and another one through TrueCredit because Truecredit report format is better. It was always a one time purchased.

However, it was a mistake at first for not checking my online credit card statement every month since my bill payment was automatic if there is any balance on my credit card account. I just found out it was being charged since April 2011 which was confirmed by 2nd rep (Margo) which I spoke talk.

The first rep name was Richard and he's probably from oversea I think because of his accent. I told him my issue about why I am being charged since I only made one time purchased. He told me there is no one time purchased with Transunion which is obviously a LIE, since I have been doing it for sometime now. His tone was very condescending and he accused me for not reading an agreement with Transunion. After he started to become nasty toward me, I got really ticked off and obviously mad too. I told him, I've been getting credit report through TrueCredit once a year just to check my credit report beside having the one from annualcreditreport.com and never have any issue like this. The conversation was going into a cycle, while he keep insistently blaming me for not reading the user agreement or something, or do not understand their sites. At the same time I told him, I used their service before and it's only once a year purchase. I told him, why would I purchased something for more than a year, and not even MONITORING it since I do not have my a password nor username to login. I request to talk to a supervisor politely, but he wouldn't tell me about availability of supervisor and he said he will transfer me to  other rep. However, soon after he said it, he hanged up on me. WHAT? Is this how a representative supposed to act.. That's so unprofessional. I am telling him my issue and to seek help, instead I 'm getting 3rd degree from him. I finally able to pull some records for credit report I purchased through TrueCredit and each record is one time purchased.

I called back the 2nd time, and a lady name Margo helped me and listen to my issue. She was helpful but even her have a limit to help me since the charges was made for 19 months. She cancelled the "plan" (something I never agreed to) and said I can get 2 months refund back, so I still lost 17 months of money with the total of $254.15. The new rep was very polite and never once, trying to put me down unlike "Richard". I just want people to be aware of TrueCredit or TransUnion. The supposed Credit monitoring agency, just betrayed my trust since I have been using them at least once a year. Now, they are in my blacklist of company you should not deal with. I am going to file several mail-in reports to the company and probably some other companies who handled this issue. This has to be stopped.

Credit Report can be purchased one time only, NOT MANDATORY to be on every single month as claimed by Richard of Transunion. NOT CONTRADICTORY as claimed by Donald C.

Donald C, first thing I like to point out. My report IS NOT contradictory or a LIE if that is what you want to accuse me of. The point of the report is:

1. Richard said, there is no way I can purchase one time report. However, I DID purchase one time report once a year. That means he LIED or he wouldn't admit an error since I was charged for every single month. READ again!

2. I purchased once, and I am done until next year and year after that. I have my credit report of 2009 and 2010 from truecredit which each is ONE time report on each year. I am still using annual credit report but I don't like the format. I don't have any charges following that month. Means, I paid ONLY ONCE  at 2009 and ONLY ONCE at 2010. I did use 2011 but I am done after that supposedly but was charged UNTIL NOW.

3. I am NOT keeping the password or the username after the transaction or ever try to remember them since I ONLY USED IT ONCE a year. Thus I couldn't find my username/password on my login username/password excel file which has every account that I have on any Internet website.  That's why on the report I made last time, just like I am saying again, I couldn't find my login username/password. Donald C, you're trying to discredit me by using that statement, than you have failed.

4. Richard should have been polite. Donald C didn't you not read what I said about the 2nd REP? She was nice and very polite. If she was the first person who I spoke with, I will probably write it off as some bad things happened once a while to people. I will probably just forget it and be careful next time. However, Richard ticked me off by being very rude to me hence the report on this website. Again, credit report can be purchased ONCE a year, and you don't have to pay every single month. However, Richard C claimed you have to buy every single month which is NOT true. So, I am not lying nor contradict to myself as Donald C claimed.

5. Apologize for some typos and grammatical errors because I am writing fast and in frustration.

Contradictory Statement and not a true statement of fact

Your above statement is contradictory in nature. You stated that you do not have a user id and Password this is not a true statement of fact.  I have been using transunion credit monitoring for several years now. I started using them when it was truecredit.com  and now it is transunion.com and I know for a fact that you have to have a user id and password as you have to be a registered user to purchase even a single credit report and pay with your debit or credit card. Since your complaint alludes to disputed charges to your credit card it is apparent that you do in fact have a user id and password. I agree with their service rep here you misread the "fine print" The only other alternative would have been to  request credit report by mail and send a check or money order for payment.
