TruLegal LLC Unable to discontinue services I am charged for on my credit card because phone number is no longer in service Denver Colorado
In reference to report #406874, I had a similar experience with the same company and people. In August I was involved in a motorcycle accident. My medical insurance company was not paying my medical bills arguing that my vehicle insurance needed to be billed first. My motorcycle only had collission and comprehensive and no medical coverage. I found TruLegal LLC on the internet and called them. They said they could help me. The sign up fee was $129.00 and then $29.95 a month service fee until I discontinued their services. I paid the $129.00 fee and faxed them copies of the medical bills and the address of my medical insurance company.
In the mean time after a number of faxes from me to my insurance company the bills began to get paid but TruLegal never so much as sent out a letter or did anything for the money I paid them. I was having conversations with the same Russell described in report #406874.
I have since tried to call and cancel the charges appearing on my credit card but the number I call is no longer TruLegal but a residence phone. I have called my credit card company and filed a grievance about the charges and the issue is being investigated but it takes 30 to 60 days for the credit card company to come up with a resolution. That is another $29.95 a month I may be ripped off for. This outfit needs to be criminally prosecuted for fraud and decepttion.
