Hi Chris, I just recently dropped this school with major problems. I am trying to get in touch with people who really want to do something about this school. But you can leave personal information on this web site. How can people get in touch.

My situation is similar to yours, Chris. I too took two classes and dropped the third in the first week, mainly because my CPU got fried. I am so glad I did drop it, though, because every class was a joke. I was charged thousands of dollars for nothing (a few credits that can't even be transferred). Anyway, if you'd like, I'd be interested in a Class Action as well.

'Silly,' how some people assume you do not want to learn if you fail to do so. I, as a teacher did want to increase my knowledge of web based business since this was not covered in my undergrad degrees. 'Silly,' how some people assume that teachers are only in it for a pay check. Most are way underpaid, and if asked why they do it--For the love of knowledge! This should be no different at University of Phoenix on-line. Unfortunately this is not the case as the staff are selected to follow the criteria set forth by the so-called University to streamline the effort and maximize their profit. Please refer to these links: http://www.ripoffreport.com/Colleges-and-Universities/University-Of-Phoeni/university-of-phoenix-online-o-78A88.htm 'Silly' how some people with no information can make an assumption instead of finding out the facts before the speak. I would sincerely hope more will check this out and help put a stop to this type of non-sense education. My prior universities would never have taught in this manner. Since I had experience, I know the difference. Since I was involved with University of Phoenix On-line rip off, I know the facts. Thank you. Student experience with the educational system deals strictly with economics. Students go to college to get a degree so they can chase the carrot, claiming a degree will create a higher salary opportunity. Colleges holding the carrot lure students supporting the same claim. It is all about the money. The only person really interested in your education is you. If a student goes to college and does not learn anything that might mean that they already know it all. If that is true, then why go to college? Somewhat ridiculous to spend time and money on nothing! Colleges are a business; they are in it for the profit, nothing more, nothing less. Teachers are in it for the paycheck. Maybe there are a handful of teachers that actually enjoy teaching; I am not one of them. Students are there for the carrot. Students at least must read the book; they can play, socialize, sing and dance, but the book must be read. However, there are many students that actually want to learn. College is not to teach students anything, but maybe the value of the carrot. College directs students to the information; just like taking a horse to a pool of water. If students want to learn about the profession they are seeking then they need to absorb the information. No one can make students absorb; that is a process they must want to do. Silly, silly you for not applying the effort to absorb! Quitting is not an option
