Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
If you are looking for a degree that you will not have to work for or learn anything, then U of Phoenix is just for you. I completed 80% of the Masters in Business Admin. degree with U of Phoenix and found myself skating through classes without effort and watching other students turning in less-than-college-level assignments and passing with good grades. From my undergraduate experience, I found that the U of Phoenix curriculum was less challenging than my Bachelor's curriculum. In other words, the degree was a joke and I wonder how they satisfy the requirements for accreditation. I not only was a student but an employee for many months. I had success there and left on good terms, so for all fo you doubters, I am not a scorned ex-employee. In observation of the business practices exhibited by the U of Phoenix, were far from honorable and not interested in the servicing of their students properly. I witnessed numerous times of how U of Phoenix would not notify students of financial aid discrepencies and then put the student into collections. I wondered how this sort of thing could happen until it happened to myself. Knowing the policies and procedures of the company, I was puzzled how I only started receiving calls from the school after the damage had been done and I was in collections. The university knows 60 days prior to returning funds and yet they failed to notify me of this. I have spoken with over a dozen ex-students from U of Phoenix that all had similar stories or even worse. They only treat people well when they are trying to get them signed up and then cut them loose to the wolves. Unanswered phone calls and getting the run-around seems to be their M.O. If I could warn anybody of anything, it would be to not expect to get your money's worth out of a U of Phoenix degree. They are all looked down upon in most academic and business arenas and it's not from unjustified bias. They have been selling degrees for as many years as they have been sending students to collections. They are over priced and there are many other options that can fit your schedule. I have been speaking with many of the ex-students that have expressed interest in "another" class-action law suit. Maybe we just need to keep hitting them with law suits until they get the picture. STOP SCREWING PEOPLE!

Again, another didn't finish what I started pitty party. As an employee you were going to school for free. Hmmm?? And now you are in collections? How noble of you to quit your job and schooling just to wrie this fine article and to save Americans from going into collections. If it's such a joke and so easy why didn't you finish? HMMM???? Well the joke is on you my friend. If you were good at your job with UOP... you would have stayed. You should find better things to do with your time.. like maybe finishing your jokes. He he!

All brick & morter colleges and community colleges offer on line classes now at reasonable state tuition rates. If everyone would just stop this Bull$#*& of attending these rip off places of higher education, you would not be getting yourselves in a financial bind, or having these rip off companies trying to ruin your credit. Then UOP, AXIA, STRAYER, CAPELLA, and who ever else Jon Doe for profit schools will close up shop and be gone for good! These on line schools are a 100% rip off. I have taken a few on line classes through one of my local community college's and I am satisfied to know that its 100% accredited and transferable to any 4 year university, no questions asked. Please everyone, stop giving yourself a heartache
