My name is Lisa Hollister, and am a passionate, dedicated educational advisor currently with UPC (some of you may have recieved a call from me already), I am a real person! I have given ROR my permission to use my info for further investigation, and legal action, unlike many of past posters. If you were truly 'ripped-off' wouldn't you at least include you real first name, city, and exact amount you were charged on your card, so we could research what we owe you in our database? As you can read from the reply, this family WAS refunded. Unfortunately, due to tough financial times, not for dissatisfaction. In fact, seems as though many of the posts on this site were due people not actually taking advantage of the program. That is why we ask that you call us when it arrives so that an advisor can walk you through downloading the software in order to compose a personalized lesson plan, it's as individual as a fingerprint, it cannot prove it's effectiveness otherwise. We guarantee IN WRITING score increases or your full purchase price in return, even if it is a year later. Did you know? "the books" are outdated? there have been major changes to these tests. How are you going to 'prep' your child for the 'writing' portion?Do your homework. College exams are the toughest exams most humans ever take. we provide, mentors, tools, strategies, and ongoing assistance for not just exams, but total transition, into college including admissions assistance, and grant research. There is no way anyone is getting into a 4 yr college without a plan, and purpose. You have to find a mentor to help you get from where you are now, to where you want to be. If not us, then someone else.If you cannot afford coaching or monitoring, you cannot afford a 4 year college. Even community college costs. Athletes have coaches, CEO's have business mentors, even people making lifestyle changes have life coaches. Transiting from High school to college needs a new mindset, and we here, at UPC know that. High school counselors are not serving your children by telling them to wait to test in the Junior yr. They should start in Soph yr. They will be done testing by Junior yr, and can start applying for scholarships before anyone else. Those who wait, get what's left over from those who got there first.
In closing, as you read through the rest of these "slamming reviews"calling us "scammers", see how many are requesting refunds because their child DID NOT GET A POINT INCREASE. Or, GPA did not go up a point after using it a year (another guarantee of ours). How many of them are focused on just getting a refund in 30 days. Were are the concerned parents? The"driven" students determined to not have to re-take tests in their senior year because they didn't get the point increase we promised? Thank you for reading if you are here, this far, I'm proud to represent UPC, and if you get a call from me, and your child is committed to college, I'm committed to making that a successful journey.

University Prep Center in San Diego, California sent me a refund check for the entire amount that was owed me:) I received a check yesterday October 5th 2012. A little slow on the uptake beings it only took them a couple days to get my money from me, it took them almost 4 months, but they did come through!!
