Cindy is it Interstate Distrbution or is it Interstate transport? your report used both names but thy are not the some company by what you said Interstate Distrbution did fire you. this is how, you told then in November that you would qiut if your miles didn't go up, but your report didn't say that you told them when you went home for christmas that you would not be back so when you didn't come back thy fired you. as to U S xpress 1st just as a point it is not in Dayton, Oh. it's in Medway, Oh. now again your report doesn't say you told them you quit. just said you left, did you tell anyone.? you took the bus ticket, you eat the food, thy put you up for the nite and you signed papers when you went to oreintation. one said that you would be paid after oreintation for oreintation (sounds like an employee to me) and also that if for any reason you didn't finish oreintation or fail the drug test that you would have to pay for the drug test (did you) by what you say you just walk out and THY should know you quit well if you don't tell then you quit than way can't thy say thy fired you. as a side note you realy should have put in two reports not lump them in togther. now as to the DAC do you have a copy.? you can get one for free as you were not given a job because of what is on it. after you have that you can see about getting things fixed on it.

First things first. You said that you went to orientation at USX. If you submitted to a urinalyssis, you will be considered an employee, and they will report you as such. Stupid, I agree, but they make the rules. Not us drivers. Get a copy of your report by calling 1-800-345-0645. Here is the link to their website http://www.usis.com/commercialservices/transportation/default.htmWell, call and they will tell you what to do to get it. Be prepared to send a copy of your license and SS card with a brief note. You are entitled to a free report, if either you were turned down for employment, or if you are looking for a job within 60 days. Once you receive it, dispute the items in question. At least add a brief statement about USX. Such as, left during orientation. Because of the DAC ripoff it is vitally important to research a future company before comitting to them. It just makes you look kind of bad to "job hop" when all you really did, was walk away from a crappy job before starting it. Depending on what they put on your DAC, you may want to contact OOIDA. Good luck
