I received a phone call from this company and they stated that they would be able to assist me in rebuilding my credit, with the credit card that they were offering.

They said that my initial credit line would be $2000.00, and that they would need a $200.00 deposit up front due to my poor credit history. The funds were to be debited from my checking account.

I naively and regretfully provided my checking account information and was told that the funds would not be withdrawn from my account for another couple of weeks. That would give me enough time to come up with the money.

After the phone call ended, I thought about what I had just done and something just didn't sit right with me. I pulled up the ripoff report.com website and typed in the company name. Sure enough, there were several complaints regarding this company.

I learned that it is not a credit card that they are offering, but a catalog card. I immediately began searching for a company website so that I could find out what types of products they offered.

I found no website at all for the company. I then called them back and told them that I wanted to cancel. They referred me to a different customer service number and promised me that someone would be there to assist me.

Well, of course when I called, a recording stated that no one was there to take my call. I called the original phone number back again and asked them what their web address was.

They told me www.myusafinancialcard.com. I pulled up the website while I was on the phone with the representative and was unable to do anything on it.

I could not register, browse the online store, or click the "contact us" link. I asked the rep about this and she informed me that until the funds had cleared my account, I would not be able to view ANYTHING on the website.

I expressed my anger over the fact that she was insulting my intellingence by telling me that and demanded that she cancel my "membership" IMMEDIATELY.

She again referred me to the customer service number and hung up on me. I called again and again and was continually hung up on over and over again.

Needless to say, I am not interested in their product but they now have my checking account information. They WILL NOT get $200 of my hard earned money. I will do anything that I have to do to prevent that from happening.

Do not make the same mistake that I have made. Do your homework before commiting any type of offer and NEVER give your checking account information out over the phone!
