Vantage International Shipping Unprofessional. not honest. complete diregard to cutomer interest. Dearborn Michigan
I paid this company to ship my truck overseas. I asked them how long it will take for my car to reach its destination and they told me 1 month. That includes 2 weeks of processing and for ship arrival/loading and 2 weeks in see. Well, it took this compay 5 months to ship my car! Everytime I ask about the status of my truck they would give me a fake date. One time, they even linked the shipping of my truck to the global war on terror!!!! lol. This company is a total BS.
So I contacted the real shipping company, and they gave me a more reasonable reason: the destination of the vehicle had rules to only let cars less than 7 ears old to enter the country.
However, when I shipped the truck, no one told me about these rules. They didn't tell me that the destiny of my vehicle is linked to the shipping of some 1000 vehicles that happen to be older than my car. In the end, my car shipped late and lost market value. I am still suing this company for refund. I even hired a lawyer and working with him on collecting data to build a solid case against them.
If you are shipping a vehicle, do not use their services. They are unprofessional and complete scams.

Would you believe that Mr. Ramez returned and shipped with us again? He begged us to ship his cars after all of this and was happy and satified with our serivce. The car delay was an extra month during the busiest shipping season. We as a shipping agent have no control over the dates for the ships. We simply use the schedules provided from the steam ship line. This customer signed a terms and condition agreement and we fully explained the details and the possiblies of delays during this season.

Vantage is an agent between shipping companies and customers. They process the paper work and have no control on vehicle ship dates. So to be fair to the guys the above report should be directed at the shipping company and not vantage.
