Common names . . . you get the point. Do RipOffReport justice and go someplace else to voice your useless commentaries.

THE ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED. There is nothing intriguing or suspicious about the complaint. Unfortunately, I was speaking to a very rude, ruthless employee of the company and it is very difficult to write when upset and no one is perfect, not even yourself. Apparently, it would be a good idea for you to find more meaning in life rather than opinionate on sites which do not concern you in the least and for which you have no business commenting. No one cares about your opinion. YOU HAD NO RESOLUTION OR SUGGESTIONS, only insults and indecency in our opinion and speculation. Being as you are so nosy, just so you will have peace of mind, the suspect in the neighborhood I live in for identity theft is being investigated, and all my mail is forwarded to a P.O. Box since discovery of this identity theft issue. Just a thought, you may want to find better use of your life, and maybe find peace and happiness within yourself, rather than making hurtful, insulting remarks about people and situations you know nothing about and that do not concern you. You have no business commenting since the issue does not involve you and remember, no one cares what you think. I just adopted three sibling orphans from North Dakota, all under 6 years old, and I am a single woman giving life where there would be none to these childern, hence the reason I was very upset regarding the charges on my credit card. THIS "Steve from New Jersey" is life, not being a smart aleck and trying to find value within yourself as a human being by being a faceless coward on the internet.

"I was charged a total of Video Professor for which I never personally placed an order." I find the "I never personally" intriguing...........like you know who it was with your info.......eg: none on me. Aside from that, why would the company have YOUR email address if someone unknown allegedly stole your identity and placed the order? They would have the alleged thief's email address and would have confirmed with them. Again, this coupled with the above intriguing wording looks suspicious.

If you are a victim of Identity Theft your anger is misdirected. This company is as much of a victim as you are. You should be more upset with the actual person who comitted this fraud. I seriously doubt this company had anything to do with the ID Theft. They make their money by giving away "Free" CD's but charging almost $10 in shipping, this probably makes quite a bit for them legally and they would not need to do anything illegal. You seem to be mad because this company did not "verify" that it was actually you. Okay, if a person has your credit card and other information. What would keep them from opening up a "fake" e-mail address and even if this company did try to confirm it the thief would say Yes it is authorized. If you have a way that you can guarantee 100% that your method will result in no cases where a card is used by someone other than the real owner, then you need to immediatly get a patent and market it. Now, you talked to your credit card company and had them close the account. Did you also dispute the amount, if so they should reverse the charges and you won't owe the money...Thus not causing you problems this Christmas.

I am a victim of identity theft. Never ordered or received training dvd's. I will be contacting and filing a report with the FTC regarding investigating Video Professor's trade practices and how they collect information without verification from the credit card owner.
