Vitamin World ,The company has given new meaning to "Rip-off" Bohemia New York
Vitamin World has once again changed their policy without notice to it's customers. The comapny sold it's "Passport" membership on the basis that every the first and Monday and Tu esday of every month they would offer Passport members the benefit of buy one and get one free of the identical Vitamin World product. Well that as of December, 2007 that program is no more.
But wait, the company is also being slick by decereasing the size of the usual vitamin products and charging the same amount of money. As an example: A bottle of Psyllium Seed Husk that used to come in say 400 count bottles, now only come in 200 count bottles. This is just one of many examples that I found out about the hard way; when my order arrived.
Like most people, I did not pay attention to number of vitamins in each bottle when ordering, I just assumed the company that I HAD been doing business with for 10 years would not suddenly rip me off like that. I was wrong!
Just for everyone's information: Vitamin World is also Puritian Pride. So, if you want small bottles of vitamins at a cheap price order from Puritian Pride; otherwise if you vitamins in a small bottle at an expensive price order from Vitamin World.
Or, you can do what I am doing: just get your vitamins from a drug or grocery store that often runs sales of buy-one-get-one-free. Or, there is always GNC....
