Wellman Heating and AC Deceptive Practices and inflates bill after estimate Lincoln, Nebraska
I called this company to give me an estimate on a furnace repair (residential). They told me on the phone that estimates were free. I got the bill after we approved the estimate and they tacked $60.00 on a 150.00 bill for an estimate. Called and the salesman had a screaming episode on the phone with me, (too bad he wasn't face to face... what a coward), called me a liar and told me they always charge an estimate.
I saw one of their panel vans driving around and pulled up to the driver side and spoke to the driver. Told him I needed to get an estimate on my furnace and asked if they charge for the estimate. Both he and his workmate in the front seat told me they never charge an estimate and to call the service dept to make an appointment.
I requested a corrected invoice and the sales idiot got involved again and refused. So, I am not paying a penny until they correct the bill. So, the sales moron is a liar and they turned me over to collections. Guess what? I will never pay these thieves and liars and they can go pound salt. Best part is I have their return call on my message machine and it captured the entire conversation as well as the screaming by their sales moron. What a shame when your entire company image is dictated by a old, worn out loser of a sales person.
These two bit companies just don't catch on that customers have to pass by a whole bunch of competition to get to their company. Lincoln is a growing city and these idiots still think they are the only game in town. Wake up and smell the furnace oil.
