West Lake Financial was the lender that AID Auto used to finance my loan.  They lied to me and told me that my loan amount was $12,000. That was supposed to be the purchase price of my vehicle.  In reality it was $17,500.  I am not even sure of the exact amount because I was never given a copy of my paperwork.  I put down $5 thousand dollars as a down payment but that down payment was given to Aid Auto as a commission or AKA (Scammer's Fee). I learned about this when I called West Lake Financial after receiving my 1st statement.  They informed me that the $5,000 was never applied towards my loan. I do not know if Westlake was aware that I was unaware about this transaction, but it seemed pretty obvious.  I was dooped for 5 k on my loan then was told that in 3 months I could refi to lower my payments.  I was paying $492 a month.  I paid them for 4 years...=$23,616 + my stolen $5 k= $28,616 all for nothing.   During my time with them they always harassed me even prior to my due date even though I always paid on time.  In addition to that they offered me some payment deduction deal that ended up changing my payment schedule that affected me from being able to make my payments on time within the month. So I eventually would always be 2 weeks late from the due date.  I found out that they do not report you late until you are past due by 30 days.  After loosing my job, I defaulted on my payments and was one month behind.  They harassed me 100 times a day! When I tried to make the past due payments of one month, I was told that they had already sent the repo man. Word to the wise...Park in the garage  and stay away from lenders like these!!!

First off Einstein, the exact financial terms of the transaction are contained in the contract which anybody with half a brain will read BEFORE signing and agreeing to them.  If you look at the contract BEFORE SIGNING and see the figures don't add up or even make sense, then you bring that up BEFORE you sign!  Only an IDIOT will simply get out the ink pen when the salesman says, "sign here" and then sign there WITHOUT knowing what they are signing!  If there are discrepancies with the sale or with the figures, thats a matter between you and the dealership.  The lender ONLY supplies the money!

You were "placed" with this SUBPRIME lender because YOU and ONLY YOU developed a documented reputation for NOT paying YOUR bills on time.  You didn't go out and seek them out.  In order to make the sale, the dealer had to find a company which would finance your sorry deadbeat a*s because NONE of the banks wanted to do business with you because YOU developed a reputation for NOT paying YOUR bills!  Then what happens?  Just like your well documented and well verified reputation, YOU don't make YOUR car payments on time either!  They call you because YOU turned on the COLLECTIONS people.  They call you in advance because YOU gave them a reason to not trust you!

Now, may you enjoy your sorry subprime life which only you can change!
