Complaint Review: Wet Media - Arizona Tuscon

The owner of this site is an example of what happens when a troll with a Napoleon complex starts a personals website. My account was terminated before my paid membership was expired due to a "violation" that the owner chooses to enforce arbitrarily. Supposedly any reference to illegal activity is prohibited but any person who spends any length of time on the site can testify to the fact that that's a lie.

First of all the very site itself which facilitates the conscious and deliberate spreading of HIV is illegal in many places. Beyond that, members regularly show their appreciation for 420, which also illegal, is apparently not a drug in the owner's eyes. When confronted with his double standard after he emailed me for creating a quick connect ad with the word "party", he quickly pulled out a ridiculous rationalization, claiming that if the ad says 420 friendly, then it's ok because it doesn't suggest an active participation.

So of course I test his integrity by rewording my ad to say party friendly. Lo and behold, the ad was removed again. I asked for an explanation and I was able to see because of premium membership, that he had deleted my email (without a reply). So over the course of 3 weeks, other members repeatedly posted 420 "friendly" ads without having their ads removed. What really confirmed the pettiness and unprofessionalism of the owner is when I noticed ads in which the members referenced their party ads on the site.

Once again the word party was used. But this time it mysteriously was not on the flagging system's radar. Or so he would likely claim. But I didn't bother to ask again. I know BS when I see it. At that point, I proceeded to created to create an ad that contained the word party. No actual drug or suggestion to use drugs was included. Yet within five minutes, I receive another email after my ad was removed, with a long diatribe about how certain terms couldn't be "publicly" used as they could be perceived as being drug related (as if others' perception is within my control) and that I was putting myself and the webite at risk.

Nevermind the fact that if someone was investigating the site, they would first have to register to see any quick connect ad, and they would also have access to "private" email sytem. No person who has the least bit of familiarity with logic would accept his "reasoning". In one last attempt to be reasonable, I politely explained to him that was he was saying made no sense at all at that his inconsistent and unfair application of the rules was tantamount to discrimination and harrassment.

I suppose he can't tolerate a challenge because I received no reply. I continued to post the same ad until he decided to terminate my account with one week left in my month membership. I'm really not that upset over the 5 dollars I spent. However when a person without integrity such as the owner of bbrt operates a website that receives a financial profit, he is asking to be called out. And so I'm doing just that. Join the site if you want but don't spend a dime. Just like most of the members, many of which he probably knows personally from having infected them with a deadly virus, he is a middle aged spoiled brat and a hypocrite.
