To start off--I am appalled that Lowrider Magazine does not screen the companies they let advertise in their magazine!! It does say that they are not responsible for the advertisements--so that should have been the first red flag! My husband ordered a set of knock-offs with tires for a good price through Wheels 4 Less, which after we got scammed we found out they go by about 5 different names! So the employee stated that she could only accept a money gram for the amount of like $450.00, so thats what we did--we kept all reciepts and kept a journal of all times we called and whom we talked to. Customer service, if you want to call it that, told us the rims would be delivered in 3-6 weeks. After the 6 week mark we called, and after about 6 attempts someone finally gave us the excuse that the reason the rims hadn't arrived yet was because the were on back order and they just got them in stock and would be sending them out in a day or 2! After 3 more weeks we called and continued to get the run around. The person we needed to talk to wasn't there or the shipping people wasn't there or the salesperson we talked to wasn't there--it was always some stupid excuse!! Almost 3 months after the fiasco started we finally just told them to send back the money, this after they asked for an additional $100 for shipping and delivery (thats another excuse for why the rims had not arrived). Of course, we never got a single red cent returned to us!! After racking up a long distance phone bill on top of the $450.00, plus all the stress from being so ticked off and not being able to do anything about it, I think money wise we spent roughly $550.00 after it was all said and done! At the end they just simply wouldn't answer the phone and then disconnected -- imagine that!!!! I truly believe this is some scam artist that has got his family involved and they just sat at home and waited for the money to start rolling in! The sad thing is--is that there are legit advertisements in Lowrider--and Wheels 4 Less has probably ruined it for them!! One thing we did notice after we did some investigating is that the Wheels 4 Less ad has no address, just a p.o. box and it has no website and a few other things that had we been more careful, this could have been avoided! I just don't want this to happen to anyone else, and I want this company punished for their crimes!!! Everyone involved should be in prison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
