I ordered a ceramic Harman Brick Panel online. After a few days, I called to obtain a time of arrival. I was told that it was not in stock and they had no idea when it would arrive. I was told that they would call the supplier and obtain an ETA and then call me back with the date. Several more days went by with no call or email advising when I could expect shipment. I am in California and they close at 2 PM my time. I tried to call them again, however, because of my busy schedule; I did not make the calls before they closed.
I found another vendor that had this part in stock and they shipped it that day. I attempted to cancel the order over the web site; however, they have not provided a method to do s0. I called again today and told them that I wished to cancel the order. They told me that it just shipped two days ago. An argument ensued where the lady became somewhat snotty. She told me that if I refused shipment, they were going to charge me a 20% restocking charge. I told her that I was not going to pay it and she said they were going to charge my credit card. I intend to refuse payment with my credit card company.
