On November 21, 2000 I bought a new Cartier Santos 18k Gold & Steel on the new Cartier Box with the info inside. On July 18, 2018 I'll send it to Cartier for a complete Service with the purchase packing List and two weeks later they send it back to me because that the service cant' be done because the seller was an UNAUTHORIZED RETAILER and they "SCRATCHED AND POLISH the original serial number from the time piece before sent it to me. Last nigth August 2nd 2018 around 8:30pm I spoke to the North America General Manager for Cartier Mr. Sack. 800-227-8437. Cartier never touch any time piece that the serial number has been tampered or removed. I paid to this company $2,918.94 for the Watch and two extra links to adjust to my wrist size $500.00 for a total investment of $3,419.94 So I can't repair sell or do anything with this watch after 18 years on my posession.
