JT Tommasso and Eastern Capital, LLC are a 100% scam operation. They are not a direct lender whatsoever. They are a broker and bad ones at best. They will swear up and down that they have a huge private fund that they sell deals to, fake. They will tell you that they participate deals with other lenders, wrong. They will tell you that they will get you 4% interest rates and promise you the world, all in an effort to get a non-refundable deposit from you. What will happen is, you will give your deposit, then give them an unbeleivable amount of information upfront. Then you will pay for an appraisal. Then, you will one day get on a call with somebody from a lending source (probabaly another broker) who doesn't know a thing about you loan and wants to give you an LOI and have you order another appraisal. These people have scammed countless people. We believe they are associated with ajtmfinancialonline.com, another scam that doesn't pick up their phones anymore. click the link below to view a ripoff report about them that names these crooks.

Responding to the unknown author of this untrue report. If the author was so correct or right in anyway, why didnt you name your project, you didn't hesitate to name our names, which is fine. Clients/brokers or anyone with access to the internet, including my 4yr old can make up things of free speech and place them on the internet. ( that's the beauty of the world we live in). Free Speech. Unfortunately your statements that is recorded here is FALSE, there is always 2sides that weights in to every story told.
Your ONE-SIDED story sounds like a client or broker that presented a dream project with all kinds of story lines to the project that it was the best project on earth and that is going to make all this money. But in the real lending world, Great projects finds "money" and dream projects never get funded. Eastern Capital only orders 1 appraisal from either CBRE or Integra which the client deals directly with all 3rd party cost. Our LOI clearly states Eastern has the right to participate or broker a portion of the loan for funding.
All loans DO NOT CLOSE, BOA charges a 30k non-refundable deposit on commercial loans, no one is calling them scam artist. if your project cannot debt service the loan it's requesting, please keep your money. if your project is the best project in the world, then walk in BOA or your community bank and get a loan. when loans come to the private sector, there is problems within that any bank will not touch and private lenders can overcome some challenges to make it work.
So when unknown authors post untrue storeys, please describe your project challenges and why it didn't fund. Maybe the project didn't meet debt service, or the appraisal fail short, not enough equity to fund..etc.....My name is place in this report and I'm very far from a scam or anything negative. I have 15yr good reputation to continue to uphold... Yes the financial industry is overshadowed by non-proformers, Eastern Capital closes "GOOD LOANS", not dreams projects. Yes our UW is not easy, but the project has to sell itself to fund.
So if your project is not a good one, which you should get a second opinion before submitting to us, please don't start the process. We check , credit, financials and verify ALL conditions, so nothing will just slip by, so if you have a GOOD project & your credit and financial worthy and honest upfront and we start your process, your loan will close.
So I ask this perticular author to prove his or her case...

I usually do not take the time to respond to some of the bogus charges filed about our company or myself personally unless I know the facts about a post on this site.
However, in reference to this post I have to ask how is it that our company name can be associated with this other company the complaint is truly about?
We know nothing of this company nor do we or have we ever worked with this company. I again ask how is it that we can be accused of the same.
I have noticed in the past that my name has been linked to the Tomasso or Tommasso name in posts before, I have seen it said that we are one in the same. I assure you I am the one and only Anthony J. Tomasi Jr. 49 years old born in New Haven CT. If anyone would like to prove different I would love the challenge.
I would also love the chance to address any charge of fraud or scam which always is attached to our company name or my name personally. It is very easy to go on sites like this and post untrue and unverifiable charges.
In all of our agreements the potential borrower has the right to dispute the contract with the American Arbitration Association. I am proud to say, since 2006 not one person has.
I am also proud to say that since 2006 not one person has filed a complaint with the BBB.
The reason could be is that both of these sources will research and investigate all charges for their validity.
Anyone can go on any site on the internet and make charges especially when you don't have to substantiate them.
I will be happy to address any true complaint at anytime and anywhere in order to resolve it. But the name calling and false accusations on Internet Sites should be ignored.
