07:29:29 PM [Susan] Hello, my name is Susan, how may I help you?
07:29:46 PM [MR. ] yes we just chatted a few minutes ago
07:30:31 PM [MR. ] are you there
07:31:07 PM [Susan] I am here to assist you. How can I be of service?
07:33:06 PM [MR. ] well, i must say that I am starting toi think that your website is a rip off, i purchase bids, i place a bid the counter counts down to seconds, it says that i am the higestbidder and when it gets down to 00:00:01 then reads GONE then starts back at 00:00:10 whats with that?
07:34:01 PM [MR. ] then iam using all my bids on a countdown that keeps resetting itself...
07:34:20 PM [MR. ] and not truely endind the bidding processes
07:34:59 PM [MR. ] when ebays auctions end they end....
07:35:45 PM [Susan] Mr.Sledge, actually it will show you the highest bidder message when you are current highest bidder, however if the timer does not run out, you do not win.
07:36:42 PM [MR. ] I understand but the counter resets itself wehn it gets to 00:00.01 instead of being 00:00:00 bid has ended
07:37:16 PM [MR. ] are you there
07:38:26 PM [Susan]
When you bid, the following will happen:
1. The price of the item goes up by a penny (depending on the auction type - will be stated on the auction)
2. If a bid is placed when the timer is below 10 seconds, the clock goes back up to 10 seconds.
3. You are now the highest bidder. If it stays that way once the timer runs out, you win the auction!
07:39:11 PM [MR. ] the bid has repeated it self numerous times
07:39:25 PM [MR. ] after it got down to ten seconds
07:39:39 PM [Susan] Yes, it happens until it runs out.
07:40:12 PM [MR. ] i know how auctions work
07:40:58 PM [MR. ] it runs out to 00:00:00 then restarts to 00:00:10
07:42:28 PM [MR. ] its okay I am just going to go back to ebay, and let the world know how awful this site really is...
07:42:39 PM [Susan] Mr.Sledge, it will finish when the word Sold shows up.
07:43:08 PM [MR. ] so then the counter is a false way of getting bids
07:43:42 PM [MR. ] because it reads going, then gone, then restes
07:43:45 PM [MR. ] restes
07:43:52 PM [MR. ] resets
07:44:40 PM [MR. ] after gone there is no finish.....
07:44:53 PM [MR. ] it resets to 00:00:10
07:45:07 PM [MR. ] are you watching the screen?????
07:45:33 PM [Susan] Please bear with me.
07:45:55 PM [MR. ] look at your 50 bids voucher its at 00:00:01 then resets to 00:00:10
07:47:11 PM [MR. ] it just read gone then restarted back at 00:00:13 right after GONE, still no finish...
07:48:13 PM [Susan]
In that case, I would recommend you to close your browser and all the opened windows that you might have. That way you will be able to clear cookies and cache, because those files do not allow your computer to work properly.
07:49:12 PM [MR. ] i have an auto cache cleaner every few seconds i fix pc's its not may cache
07:50:03 PM [MR. ] your website is NOT producing the word "FINISH" after a bid reads GONE....
07:51:02 PM [MR. ] well at least I only got taken for $15.00, I will make sure to pass along my email about this chatt....
EMAIL SENT TO THEIR TECH SUPPORT:
Just wanted you to know that your website is ripping people off, aparently who ever wrote the code "DID NOT" set it to end the auctions when the counter reaches 00:00:00 .....
When it reaches 00:00:00 it reads GONE, then restarts instead to 00:00: and the last two numbers being 17, 12, 10 as 00:00:10 still allows bids to be made when in fact when the clock gets to 00:00:00 the bidding should be over and read GONE and the bid the should read "FINISH" but it doesn't....
Therefore, your application is setup to constantly force people to buy more bids and spend more money on a bid that should technically be ended. Which is putting more of my/their money in your banking account for a bid that does not end when the counter reaches 00:00:00.
Lastly, your programer certainly has his application doing a "loop de loop",
FOR whatever = 1 TO 100
total = total + 10
NEXT whatever
THERE RESPONCE:

Pick an auction
We have an exciting variety of state of the art items to choose from. All of the items auctioned on our site are brand new and factory sealed!
Bid on an item
Each time you bid on an item, one bid will be deducted from your account and the auction price will increase by $0.01 for penny auctions. Each time a bid is placed, 15 seconds will be added to the auction clock, allowing for other bidders to decide if they would like to continue bidding. If you are the highest bidder when the time reaches zero, you win!* You will then pay the ending auction price plus the cost of shipping.
