Dovenmuehle Dovenmuehle is a scam company that will rip you off if given a chance! Lake Zurich (Chicago) Illinois
First, I did NOT choose this garbage company. They were forced on me by my "new" lender. 2nd, they will hang on to your insurance settlement as long as is humanly possible no matter if you have had repairs completed and are getting calls from contractors asking for their money.
The sheer level of incompetence is beyond belief! I'm told to get work done, get invoices showing work has been paid for (how do I do that unless I pay out of my pocket???) then I'll be reimbursed. I take a loan out to pay over $50K for repairs (not upgrades, REPAIRS) and I get a two week runaround about an "inspector" to come out to verify repairs have been completed (when by their own admission they have a 5-7 business day rule).
Eleven business days later I get an inspector to come out. Then 4 days later I call back and am told now I need a signed release (when I already have provided them with invoices showing "paid in full"! Better yet, they want to hold $6,000 of the payment for literally $722.00 worth of work (that was already done no less and photos provided).
This company should be shut down. This is nothing but a scam joint to steal your money, especially when it's insurance money. A Chicago based company. I guess that explains why they are allowed to steal from people.
