Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We sat down with a Inventhelp Rep. who told us that we had a wonderful invention (We already knew that) in which he proceeded to tell us the first cost. ($945) in which would start the ball rolling. Well the ball rolled alright, right into there pockets. We paid them over 13,000 to start everything and it was paid in full. Since that day it has been nothing but a lie all of it. The companies they stated they had they didn't, they sent my information to companies that had nothing to do what so ever with the invention.(Furniture Store_Example) There was never an address or phone number or any information to say they contacted these people .

I contacted some of those companies and some of them stated that they threw away that junk(Quote from that companie). Some say they never got anything. They said that There were so many companies in there Data Bank(Lied Again). Many calls were made and each time they lied again .They were eagered to take customer money but not eagered to send out information when requested or do there job correctly. All companies that has contacted Inventhelp has come from me alone.

This company has misrepresented themselves. They even had the nerve to send in a Regional Director who said she was coming in to see us,well she came in just to collect the money and leave.(ZULA BERRY). You know what makes me so made people work hard for there money and no person or company have the right to mis represent themselves or there company. I entend to tell the world about Inventhelp Co. Through the news and to everyone who will listen. I will also seek legal advice. I want all of my money not half but all. Don't Deal With Inventhelp Fraudulent Company. Lisa Lisa Detroit, Michigan

Inventhelp "The Invention People"

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I worked with Inventhelp for about a year and none of what I read above is true. Inventhelp has been in business for over twenty years and does not engage in false business practices. Every Inventhelp person I came in contact with was nice and very helpful. All clients I ever dealt with were happy and satisfied. They are the best in the business and have been for a long time. Nobody gets cheated and they do not sell personal information. Inventhelp does not evaluate the quality of an idea or invention if you go to there web site or call they will help you in a professional manner. I hope this helps.

Inventhelp has been in business for over 20 years and conducts there business honestly and truthfully. They always treated me with courtesy and respect. Inventhelp has worked with many new Inventors and guided people through the process of submitting ideas and products to Industry. I worked there and they were a class act the whole time.

Whatever you do don't dial 1-800 numbers promising free information or set an appointment to meet a sales rep your just asking to be ripped off. Do you really think your going to to get risk vs reward here? Do you want to flush thousands of dollars down the toilet? If you call them they are not going to give you any type of inforamtion that is helpful over the phone. If you do call the operator will take your information which will be sold to third parties. They have caller id and track every number that comes through the system. You will be transfereed to an appointment setter who will ask you the following. 1. Is your idea something that can be made in too a product? 2. Are you interested in patening your idea? 3. Do you want to submit your idea to industry? That free packet you thought you were getting you won't unless you live outside of an area where there is an office. They want you to make an appointment and buy there services and that is it. They don't care if your idea ever sells or makes it big. They have trade shows to make themselves look legit. Do yourself a favor and go to uspto.gov and then contact a patent attorney. Last but not least I have an email to share from an Inventhelp client. Sir, I really hate to do this but I have no other choice but to make a complain about your Austin office. On Wednesday, I talked with your representative in Austin, TX , his name is Case Haynie, He called me in the morning telling me that my presentation is ready to pick it up, finally after almost 4 months and almost $1,000 paid at front!, I really was very exciting about this, review my presentation and finally advance to the next step in order to have my invention on the market, so I called him and make an appointment for Saturday. (I don't live in Austin that is why my only day I can go to Austin is the Saturdays), well, I talked with Case Haynie and he told me that he can't receive me this saturday, because he has a very busy schedule and just on extreme circumstance he go to work on saturday!, It did not look like that when I met with him the last 2 appointments, (when I signed the contract and paid the almost $1,000 fee), when I asked him what Saturday he will be available for "his client" he told me that probably by the middle or end of July!, Come on!, if this guy really want my business at least he can work something better, right???, it will take me less than 15 minutes to review the presentation but because this is not a extreme circumstance (at least for him) he can not give me a better day. The funny thing is that he told me that he can stay "late" on the office on the weekdays just for me. When I asked him what time is "late" the said 6pm. I work Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm, and will take me probably more that 2 hours to be in Austin (including traffic), of course, he can not work 30 minutes one Saturday but he wants me to lose 2 maybe 3 hours of work? We finally set the appointment for July 5th at 3pm (of course I will lose half of day at work) but this is just if he can make his return from vacations on time. Sir, let me ask you something? your company always treats to its clients like that? probably not but if your company don't want to lose one client who is really interested in advance to the next step, this guy needs to treat me better, if not, I will take my presentation and find another company who really care about their client, like this guy told me, "I'm sorry that sometimes things don't work the way we like, but that is the way it is" I'm here to make business with your company and don't want any drama or delay. Hope you can send this e-mail to the correct person in order to "fix this problem" Probably for this Saturday June 23 is too late but will be good an appointment for the next saturday June 30, at least to pick up my presentation (will take me 5 minutes of less) Thank you for your help Ciro Rivero San Antonio, TX

Did they require you to sign a "gag order" that you didn't have to agree to? Did you send correspondence to all the places I mentioned? More than glad to help :). You have no idea.

Please file with the Attorney General as they will not investigate unless there is a pattern of complaints. Same with the FTC and USPTO.

#13Consumer Suggestion

Thu, November 23, 2006

Please folloow through and do this as I have complaints into the Pa. Attorney General Office and they need to see a pattern for them to do anything. Send complaints to Pa. Attorney General Office in care of Jennifer Kelley Jennifer Kelley-Agent Office of Attorney General 564 Forbes Ave. 6th Floor, Manor Bldg. Pittsburgh, Pa. 15219 Also send a copy here: Office of Attorney General Bureau of Consumer Protection 14th Floor, Strawberry Square Harrisburg, PA 17120 As well as to your Attorney General(although they may just forward it to Pa) ag.state.mi.us/cp_division/w3cp_c01_new.asp Also file a complaint with the United States Patent and Trademark Office-the .pdf form can be downloaded here-as well as the National Fraud Center(I used the same form to send to both): inventored.org/scam/ They are in violation of FTC-94 which can be read here: ftc.gov/opa/predawn/F95/invention-2.htm It is imperative that you do this. Read through the InventorEd site thoroughly-there is ALOT of info there.
