I signed up for www.invstor.com so that I could promote my business plan to investors that allegedly used their service.  I was skeptical in the beginning but thought I would try their service.  It was for $199 a month and there was no contract term.  It was month-to-month.  I was trying raise a million dollars so I figured that if it was a scam, the worst that could happen is that I would be out of $199.  

It became apparent to me very quickly, that the people who contacted me were not about the right thing.  Some demanded $9,500 up front to qualify and there were other bizarre offers.  I saw that it was not for me and cancelled, but they have taken two more months times $199 out of my account, to the extent that I had to cancel my card to get it to stop.

On 1/20/17, I wrote:

PLEASE CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP IMMEDIATELY!

The only thing I have gotten from this are multiple scams.

You are not authorized to take any more money.

They immediately responded back:

Thank you for contacting Invstor.com!

For user protection and proper documentation, you would need to send us an email from the email registered on the account letting us know that you wish to cancel your subscription.

You can do that anytime for there are no commitments as to how long you wish to use our service.

Please note - that we do not and will not require you to tell us why you would wish to stop using our services, but you are welcome to do so for we appreciate all feedback so we can improve our services.

I responded back:

This is the account that I signed in on.  There is no other account.  

Do not keep asking for something that is impossible.

Just cancel and refund. I will dispute with my bank too.

They responded back:

If you don't have these information, you can also dispute the charge with your bank and we'll cancel the subscription once we get the dispute.

On February 20, 2017, they again took $199 out of my account and I wrote:

I CANCELLED THIS LAST MONTH AND YOU TOOK MY MONEY ANYWAY.

I HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT BACK AND NOW YOU ARE TRYING TO TAKE IT OUT AGAIN.

I DEMAND THAT YOU PUT IT BACK IMMEDIATELY - $199 X 2= $398.

THIS SITE IS A RIP-OFF AND IF I DO NOT GET MY MONEY BBACK TODAY, I WILL CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND START LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.

They responded back:

I have forwarded the last conversation you had with one of the support agents for reference.

They did not respond back.  On March 11, 2017, I wrote:

I have asked that you service be discontinued and have asked for a refund for the last two months ACH’s.

You have indicated that this would happen but to date, it has not. 

Please advise as to when.

Their response was the least thing I have heard from them:

Thank you for reaching out to Invstor.com via email, we really appreciate it.

This is an automated response just to let you know that you’ve been heard!

Our support team’s business hours are Monday thru Friday, 9AM to 9PM Eastern Standard Time.

Someone will surely get back to you as soon as possible within the next 24 hours.

No one has contacted me back.  I had to cancel my bank card to prevent any further withdrawls.  I want $398 back.  They said they would refund it but have not.  This is a complete ripoff!
