I purchased a Sterilizek nano machine  It had circular string of blue Ion negative lamps and a jet stream of steam all to kill germs, viruses, and bacteria. The packing box was severly crushed on one corner when recieved, but the item worked beautifully. After 6 weeks of use it became disfunctional. The blue Ion lamps went out , the steam did not come out, and burning plastic could be smelled from the vent holes. I contacted the company and was put in contact with a representative who said there would be no problem replacing the unit. She asked me to take a picture of the unit while operating mode so she could see it wasn't working. She also asked me to send her a video of the machine during the disfunction.

I did both and she said she was satisfied with the video and pictures and a replacement unit was approved and a tracking number would be sent to me. She never asked for the bad unit to be returned. After a few days, I received an email from Sterilizek stating that if my order has arrived damaged, I must send video evidence to be evaluated by her shipping department. She said she couldn't open the video I sent. After days of trying to send the video yet one more time, I said I couldn't and demanded my replacement or I would turn it over to Discover Card.  Discover corrisponded with them and they said I was trying to keep the machine and the money too. 

Discover card ruled the transition in their favor. After using my Discover card in access of $21,000 for this year, I have since stopped doing business with Discover because they basically let this company call me a lyar and a thief.  I liked the machine and during the dispute have bought 2 more machines through them. Those are working fine, but I did notice something. Sterilizek changed the style of the machines from the first one I purchased. Hmmmmm. I wonder how many people tried to return the style similar to the one I was initially sent.  If there are more situations like this out there, I would like to hear from you. Thanks for listening.
