Warkatt Construction LLC Tony Smith remodel shower with tile yoe PA
The end result of the install is the shower leaks into the kitchen. some due to unfinished work, and the overall job looks horrible. This man had done work for me the week before and did a great job painting the kitchen. He misrepresented himself when he said he could rip out my old shower and replace it with tile. I had planned to give him a bonus for some extra stuff he took care of so although the work was not completed 100% i paid him in full and told him of the bonus. He has never returned and when I call him and told him it was leaking he told me to call a plumber.
Above is the short version I sent the Attorney General: Tony Smith claimed he has done a shower before but after some investigating (after the fact which is a mistake) I have found that some of Tony's pictures are in fact from other people's work. This is not the way to get ahead. I also know of reports of him taking people's money for jobs and not completing them. The tile is really uneven and he did not level the walls there are Gaps everywhere as I fight trying to caulk them hoping that will stop the leaks.
He made mention during the job that he had to cut the drain pipe shorter so the drain pan would fit. I sure hope he reattached it properly if not It will leak until I pay someone to do it over. Doing this expensive project twice is never in one's budget but thanks to Tony misrepresenting himself thats what has to happen. He kept saying he would be over to finish but always had an excuse and telling me to call a plumber means he don't guarentee his bad work. once I had another look at it to finish putting the shower door on, that I paid Tony to do, they said the walls are so uneven they couldn't guarentee that not leaking.
He expressed having a tight scedule and a plumbing problem set him back a day. He rushed through the job and left before it was water sealed and i am having trouble figuring out where the leak is coming from.
He is a fraud and claims he can do work that he has no business doing. secondly I can't find his LLC online so I am thinking that'a a fraud as well.

You don’t need to be a plumber to hook up a drain it’s part of the shower job, that aside you did a horrible job on the tile. Every tile guy that looks at it gasps! Uneven rile, cracked and broken tike. Scratches that don’t come out with "magic eraser” as I was told to use by you. It’s a total train wreck and you never returned to finish after getting paid.
I complained through the whole job about the look of the uneven tike and you kept saying the grout will bring it together and it did not. You have the nerve to advertise my shower job on your website and delete the negative comments when I try to warn people not to hire you for their shower job. You’re a amateur and a crook. I will have to pay another $4000 to get that shower done right so there is nothing you can do. Again apologies don’t fix your bad work.

I’d like to express as I did previously this was honest mistake that was satisfied by customer. I had gotten phone call of leak, explained possible causes and ways to fix leak. I was not the plumber on the job, I was paid to do tile work.
If there is anything I could do to make things right I would gladly take care of it. Please understand this was a honest mistake of tightening drain had we known drain was not secure and water tight we would have ensured so prior to finishing! Again our deepest apologies for inconvenience!
