What follows is my experience With WifiPlex, yours may be different.
I started using WifiPlex through our landlord on July 1 of 2019. One of the very first problems I had was a lack of signal and speed. It took a bit more then a weeks worth of Emails to get WIFIPlex to acknowledge the problem and make adjustments, including giving us a wired connection.
This past week, the service dropped out altogether and I had to wait for 4 Hours for WIFIPlex to tell me that they could not help me because the landlord had cut power to the equipment.
Add to this the fact that the actual equipment is not secured in a secured enclosure ( see picture ) there by negating ALL SECURITY and you have the makings of a potentially dangerous ( security wise ) and potentially unreliable service.
Those of you who may know something about network security may be able to identify at least 6 attack vectors in this one picture alone.
If you are served in your building by WIFIplex, Ask your landlord to inspect the internet equipment to make sure it is properly secured. If it is not, ask your landlord to deduct the cost of internet from your rent and get your own connection.
This review will be removed when WIFIplex no longer furnishes my internet access. This review will also be updated with any further positive or negative developments in my situation with WifiPlex.
It Should be noted that this company servs people in Quebec.
