On September 4, 2015, I entered into a contract with 3 Blind Mice Window Coverings, Inc. By check, which they cashed immediately, I paid them $998.00 for custom shutters, P. O. # 3995168. I was told that my installation date would be October 27, 2015. On October 14, I received an email from Desiree Carrillo, Project Manager, stating that my shutters would not arrive until Dec. 4. I emailed back that this was unacceptable, disreputable. Ms. Carrillo answered that the manufacturer Graber experienced "some delays with shutters at this time. I will try my best to get a earlier date for you." No one contacted me on the date of Dec. 4. The following week, on Dec. 9, I tried to contact 3 Blind Mice once again. Ms. Carrillo said the shutters were in and that the installer would contact me on that Friday, Dec. 11. No one contacted me. The following Monday, I again contacted the company and asked to speak with a supervisor. I told the supervisor that I would contact a lawyer, which I did. My blinds were finally installed on Thursday, Dec. 17. This company held my $998 for 3 1/2 months. I feel this is an abuse. The shutters have a dent on the left-hand side. The installer stated that he would address this with 3 Blind Mice and that I would hear from them in a couple of days.
