This company hosts internet shopping carts for websites.  They insist that customers do an annual billing option.  If you want monthly billing, you lose features AND pay more per month.  The reason for this is their terms and conditions which require automatic billing and no refunds even if you cancel or try to switch to monthly the very day that they bill you for another year.

Their customer service people are complete morons who seem to enjoy stealing from their customers.  What if a rental car company forced every customer to pay for a full tank of gas when you pick up the car?  They then would profit needlessly because it is impossible to return the car completely empty unless you tow it in.  This company will always profit from the remaining term of your deal no matter when you try to cancel.  So take the fee and double it to really see the value you are getting here.

Their terms and conditions are hidden.  They do not make their customers agree every time they change the terms and conditions.  They will bill an expired credit card instead of asking you to change it.  They have no option on their classic dashboard to convert to monthly billing and receive a prorated credit.  There is no link to the current terms and conditions anywhere on their user dashboard.  They do not warn you in advance of charging you for the monthly fee and they offer no grace period after your card is charged for a renewal, whcih is AGAINST THE LAW.  The law states you must provide notice to the customer in advance of the automatic billing (the annual bill statement) AND you must get clear acceptance of the terms and conditions.  They do neither until after they steal your money for another year.  In my case, my renewal charge was 4 HOURS old into a YEAR contract.  They claim that they can keep the entire year no matter whan i cancel.  Fraudulent business

Avoid this company.  If you must use them, only do the monthly billing option.  There are much better alternatives that do NOT have such a high monthly fee.  Look at migrating your site to WordPress and use WooCommerce.  You will save $500 per year or more.

All former 3dcart customers who have the annual billing have lost money to this company and should get together in a class action suit.
