I called 4 wheel parts on purpose because I didn't know what the proper rim fitment would be for my stock pickup truck. I told the guy I talked to (Chuck) what my truck specifications were. He told me the rims I needed and took my information. The entire time I talked to him it was obvious that he couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I asked if I was going to get an email confirmation, he responded that because I placed the order over the phone I wasn't going to get one. I had to call to check on the shipment because it didn't show up when he said it would. They had a hard time finding it because he didn't even enter my contact information correctly.

The rims came in a few days later and when I had the opportunity I went to my local tire place to have them mounted on my snow tires. After opening the boxes, 1 of the boxes was mismarked and had a 5 lug rim in a6 lug box. I proceeded to send the rim back and a few days later the replacement came in.

The last tire was mounted and all four tires were put on my truck. The first thing I noticed was the tires stick out past the fenders by approximately 1-1/2" after trying to pull out of my driveway the tires made a rubbing sound in the front. I pulled back in to inspect the front tires and noticed they were rubbing on the inner fender liner. I called the 800 number and was given a different number to a manager that would have to issue any type of return.

I spent probably 20 minutes on the phone with him as he was trying to convince me the easiest thing was to have my front suspension cranked up which "should" eliminate the rubbing. The next thing he suggested was for me to purchase a body lift from him which would eliminate the rubbing. The final thing he offered was to send me shims to push the rims out farther, the rims are already out 1-1/2" past the fender which is illegal in NY. In order to remedy that problem I would need to purchase fender flares to comply with NY state laws.

Every option he gave me meant I needed to spend more money to fix a problem that I didn't create in the first place. He told me there was nothing else he could do because the tires were already mounted on the rims. How was I suppose to know that the tires were going to rub? I have tried to dispute this through my credit card company and every story their billing department gives them is completely fabricated. I currently have 4 tires that I paid to mount on rims that I already paid for sitting in my garage that I can't use.

Their reason for not taking the rims backs (which they told my credit card company they offered me) was because they were used by mounting them which is against their"policy".
