I too was drawn in by the low price, and the apparently high consumer rating of the company, and ordered a GPS unit. [I found the company by the way through "Lowpricedigital.com" which obviously uses phony ratings.]
A couple of days later they called to confirm information and inform me that, by the way, I would need a "memory card" for the unit to work for a mere "Father's Day Special" of $99 dollars. I immediately cancelled the order - which, to their credit, they immediately did (at no cost).
The good part of this experience is that I have discovered Ripoff Report which should help me prevent a similar mistake. Thanks.
