A & E Factory Service Four Days of Missed Work For ONE Service Call!!! Stood Me Up 2X, and when came left without completing the job Harvey Illinois
A&E Factory Service was absolutely horrible to work with. My first appointment with them resulted in them not showing up for the scheduled appointment (8 to 12 window). When I called at 12 to inquire about where they were they said they could maybe get there by 6.(I ended up having to reschedule for another day)
When I called to complain, they turned it around to be my fault b/c I hadn't taken the name down of the person that I had spoken to!?! So I proceeded to make another appointment. I did, and the tech came and determined what parts needed to be ordered. He said the parts would come directly to my home and then made an appointment to return a week later. OK, no problem, I could handle this I thought.
Until I returned home from work at 7pm the night before my appointment and had an (AUTOMATED) message on my machine telling me I had to reschedule my appointment!?! So I called in the morning and said, ugh Noooooo that I in fact DID NOT need to reschedule my appointment and that since I had taken the day off of work that they needed to get their tushes out to my house! So they then showed up and quickly installed the part. However the tech could no return the oven back into the wall position. He said that he was "too small" and needed help from another tech. He told me that he could be back out the next morning to complete the job.....
Four days later, 5 phone calls later to A&E who absolutely could not CARE LESS that I
A. Have taken four days total off of work for them (today included b/c they told me that "they would try and squeeze me into their route), and
B. Obviously cant use my oven to cook for the ugh....THIRD WEEK NOW (oh did i happen to mention how my FANTASTC 2004 Maytag oven was malfunctioning??? Try turning itself on to 700 degrees at 4 am (Luckily it beeps when it turns on, so it woke me up from the second floor of my home), and not being able to shut it off no mater how many buttons we pushed. It essentially was possessed. My husband had to pull the circuit breaker. The A&E tech told me that "yeah, that could definitely start your house on fire". Do I even want a "fixed" oven that can do this in my home??? and
C. The dislodged oven is in front of my cabinets, so I have no cookware to cook at all with!!! By the way, I still have not gotten a call back from the "routing manager" whom at first i was told would call me by 9 am today. During my latest phone conversation they said, "Oh, well he may not even be in today...., would you like to make another appointment?"
